Hey guys so my cousin got a Premium Black Wi U yesterday for Christmas and she had me on the phone as tech support for like an hour yesturday, and she couldn't do anything about it.

So she plugged in all the plugs and turned it on for the initial setup and nothing displays on the Tv, only the gamePad. Se has plugged and unplugged the HDMI, restarted the console (I made sure that she didn't if the update was happening), and even tried a different HDMI core and nothing. She, and her family are positive that it was on the correct input.

Could this be because some Wii U's are faulty?

My uncle now has to bring her Wii U back to the store to exchange, hopefully...

is the hdmi port on the tv good only other thing I could think of is try a diif erent hdmi port on the tv if theres more than 1 or try on a diff tv all together.

Does the tv support fullhd 1080p?

I contacted my cousin and she told me she already got it exchanged and the new one works flawlessly

I feel bad for the people who do end up getting faulty Wii U systems, but it's good they can exchange them for a (hopefully) more reliable one.
