I need to know how to play My WiiU games on the gamepad only. When I viewed the promos and trailers for the WiiU it looked like a very simple process to switch from playing the games on the TV to the gamepad only. I just can't seem to figure it out.

You can't. I believe the touch screen is used as a menu. You can only play on the TV.

Not all Wii U games are gamepad only, Epic Mickey is one that isn't.

Not true. Certain games can be played solely on the Gamepad like NSMB U. There are several other games that can to but as mentioned it depends on the game as not all support this feature.
