I made this thread so we can discuss the potential of the Gamepad's NFC(near field communication) feature. From rumors and speculations to what would you like to see. Feel free to post (:
My idea is that they could make cards compatible with NFC that unlock certain content in games. Like the E-reader functionality in Animal crossing. They could sell the card in pack in stores like Gamestop.

Hopefully they make it so eShop cards are activated through NFC so you don't have to put that long code to use it.

I remember a leaked trailer from Ubisoft showcasing the "NFC" feature. They used figurines of the rabbids, Ezio, and once scanned. They appeared in the game environment. So I'm sure we'll be seeing more of this in the future, along with scannable cards for games like pokemon.

was that feature still going to be in the game? That was just a concept trailer not ment for public viewing
