They should do it, and make it so you can add power ups and random bosses everywhere! XD I would quite enjoy facing the bosses in order backwards...

It would be a bad business decision.
I would love it though.

That would be fun I would create impossibly unfair levels and laugh at my friends failing them :D

New Super Mario Bros. U already surprised me with how good it ended up being (since I didn't like NSMB Wii). If they add a level editor, I will start drooling rainbows while unicorns come flying out as Chuck Norris rides one off into the sunset while playing Stairway to Heaven....with his mustache....

Personally I'd love this idea. But it would need to be simple enough for new comers but have enough depth for pros. And of course download available online. But I do feel like it would be a poor business decision :/ maybe someday?

Considering the main difference of each NSMB game is new levels, bosses, enemies, and like 1-3 new powerups..

That crosses out like 2 things. I don't think nintendo will do it until they have a better series. They even admitted the NSMB series is getting old. They're probably thinking about a new series. Like another three-dimensional mario game, such as Super Mario Galaxy.

It could use some artistic changes though, every game.

2D mario is more fun to play for more people than 3d mario, they're not going to abandon it.

with space flowers
and space mushrooms
don't forget the space leaf
and of course, bring back the cape

Think about it though, there's the solar system, then the galaxy, then the whole UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!

I would LOVE to see mario travel through more galaxies... not unless he has been doing that all along? O_o
