I am in the EST zone near Washington D.C (New York is usually used as the reference though). I will be heading back to college next week, buuut luckily my schedule is pretty sparse so I'm sure I can make the meetings. xD

I will try to pick a time where we can all attend. Maybe a bit late for you and very early for me or vice versa. I'll make a date and time proposal by the end of the day. Via Skype?

No I have not. This is an inexpirienced team. I think our priorities are first trying to come up with a simple webgame. After thay... We'll see.

I wish i cloud help, but I dont know Programming yet :( although im learning!

Hello! My name is Kao and I am a Kangaroo! If you can see my kicking picture there, you can see me riding one of mine friends! I am quite popular in the area because I saved alot of animals turning in to women accsesories. It was quite painfull on the way, but I liked the experience! I plan on buying a plane with all my money I got and going on an adventure on the isles. My first adventure was when that Mcguffin Hunter cought me, but I escaped, and I don't want to let any animal in pain! What's your story, mate?

Hey, man, i miss the days when i could do this stuff.

Just one word and some advice.

Word: Perserverence.

Advice: DONT take sprite/art from various sources on the web, you could be hit with a cease and desist, or worse.

I wouldnt worry about going 2d over 3d in art, you have a very competent modeler/animator trying to just get this project together!

Thanks! I have some sketches created on draft and am now designing them in Illustrator and Photoshop. I think I'll create the first concept as an animated level in Aftereffects just to get things going to to show everyone what the concept is about.

That's a shame. Could you pm me about your background I am rather curious.

Thats easy, no need for a pm. I went to college for computer science, mmedia arts, classic art, and graphic design with the intent of making videogames, ended up working for a while at activision cause it was, like, LITERALLY in the parking lot of the art school i went too, Art institute of los angelas california) Got married, needed more money, needed time to spend with expanding family, Somehow I ended up getting a job at sun microsystems, and survived the oracle takeover not just with a job in tact, but a promotion.

So now my once job now hobby is something i keep track of while work is compiling. Maybe soon ill have more time on my hands to do stuff again, but right now, when its not work, its the kid or perpetually angry baby XD.

Ah I see. Then I was on the right road. Reading between the lines I thought you were a content professional with some good media education. Didn't know you were working for well known studios and companies. Good for you! Thanks for the info. Now I know how to place your posts, I always find your post usefull and logical but nw they are confirmed :)

Nothing huh? And it looked like you guys were tracking with a simple html5 game. What happened? bit off more than you guys could chew? lose interest?

Im thinking making something with real time game mechanics might be a little daunting, and frusterating.

My suggestion was a good adventure game. Of the old point and click variety. Your programmer would barely need to know more than the simplest branch statements, and 90% of the work is the 'fun' part, art and story, and perhaps the simple puzzle, and testing is a breeze, and its really quite enjoyable.

http://html5games.co...ain-of-truth-2/

You can even try this out on the wii u.

Thanks. I am currently working out the concept as an animation. I think I came up with a pretty piece of gaming concept which is highly realistic and also new, i have never seen sich a thing before. The problem is that I need two screens.

I have the script all done and the first sketches too. I currently working on the sprites and backgrounds. I am not too convinced the people on this forum will really help out since they never ask or contribute in this post. I asked a mediadesign and ict student at my university (where i teach mediadesign) to help me out with the code.
