You guys in chat are so fickle at times...
As Nollog said, matters of Ness/Geno/fireygun's chat ban is between the mods, but mainly at AMAC's discretion.
If Ness feels the punishment is unfair or etc, he will have to take it up with AMAC.

There are a few things I'd like to point out on this issue:
1) Warnings/punishments are an issue between the users involved and the moderating team. There isn't much need for a thread about an individual user's warnings.
2) Unbanning one user because of a thread like this would be unfair on the other users here who have been banned from the chat. I'm not saying Ness won't ever have his ban lifted, but doing so because of this threat would set a bad precedent.
3) I don't want to come across as being arrogant, but I have access to the chat logs and am able to see if users have been repeat offenders, which means that us moderators are in a better position to decide what would be fair punishments when warning users.
4) At the time of this incident, I don't recall any users contacting me to defend Ness. If you think any of the moderating team have been unfair on another user, let us know at the time, rather than several months later.

The difference it makes to me is simple, more people in the future getting unbanned for no other reason than people wanting to make them feel better.
That means the quality of posts will drop to poopieville(or roleplay forum) tier.
Forums are for discussing things. Why do you take such offence to the discussion of this thread? Because I disagree with it on principal?
I don't dislike Ness either, but I don't see people liking him as a legitimate reason for him or anyone else to be unbanned from anything.
Has he learned not to spam the chat? Probably. That's not for me to decide, that's what the mods job is.
Good for you, I hope you learned from your experience.
You're hardly a model member if you've been banned, no offence.
What makes you think I'm hurt by this topic?
That it offends me, makes me mad, or anything like that?
Is it because my opinion on it doesn't match yours?
I won't ignore something which will effect my enjoyment, sorry.
Looking at your point of view I do realize that you are right and that this Website has its rules for a reason (a good reason). But the reason why I created this thread instead of a PM to the moderators was for people to show that they wanted Ness unbanned aswell.
I am the hero this forum needs, but not the one it deserves.

Bans aren't issued for no reason. There is a reason behind a ban's length and why it was done.I know you have a job AMAC and Im cool with that but arent you being kind of strict?
As CUD said, I think AMAC is being fairly reasonable.
