????Not exactly ideal, what if someone plays MH3 and then wants to play the previous game/
Its the same game. ultimate is just a content enhanced version of tri.

Im pretty sure Dragon Quest 10 are going to share servers, but those games are essentially identical, while MH3U has more contentThis seems fair... Although it would be cool if the two games shared servers to some degree... Oh well, not too many people will be effected by this.

eventually it will: original xbox servers were still going on until 2010, PS2 servers are shut down, when Nintendo Network completely replaces Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (when the next Mario Kart and Smash Bros are released and all Virtual Console games are available on Nintendo Network, Wii and DS servers will be shut down. It costs money to run servers, and eventually the costs won't be worth it: if it was, I would still be playing Star Wars Battlefront on my PS2 online (by the way make Battlefront 3 BTW)not true.

BF3 was made, all that was needed was bug fixing. Alas lucasarts canned it at the last moment. If they ever try and claim games are to expensive I will just chuckle at how they canned a more or less finished game..... and then cry.

That's messed up Like sometimes when I'm bored I would go play Call of Duty 4 for the nostalgia and stuff, so it's kind of not right that they're shutting down servers so you can't go back...
Stupid decision not only are people going to hate that, but we get a good look at what Capcom is trying to do.
Sega has much better fanbase support, not only is their Dreamcast version of Phantasy Star Online 1 still have their severs up and weekly maintenance but they announced it won't be closing until 2018 not when the next one releases.

Well it appears that is something unfortunate, I'd rather them support a game for a long period and stop nickle and dime'ing people for our cash.

If you think Smogon ban stuff
"Just because they can't beat it"
You clearly don't play OU
You clearly have no knowledge of the metagame
And you clearly don't deserve to have an opinion.
