Hello all,

I'm new here. I didn't find this topic immediately, so I figure to ask this question here. What was your first game system? For me, it was the Sega Genesis when I got it back in Christmas of '89. I remember it fondly because I remember I didn't really want the Genesis, lol. However, it did grow on me and I enjoyed it (in addition to the Sega CD, and 32x). Yes, I was one of the the unfortunate owners of "the tower."

First game system I've played that I remember is the SNES. First game system I've ever owned? The Gamecube.

First Nintendo Console, Sega Genisis, and N64......i had them at the same time

The first system I owned was the gameboy, but not the original.

The first console I owned was the N64 (a year or two later)

The first played, heh, was the NES. But I never actually got one until the Wii. Yeah, I had a boring childhood until 2006.

Whoa!!! NES was the oldest I saw on here... sheesh... My first was a TI -40 (It might not qualify as a console)... essentially this was a Keyboard with a cartridge slot. When a Game was inserted you could play it... and when there was no cartridge you could write BASIC programming... save it on a cassette tape... exciting stuff!

My first game system was the FC Twin. It plays NES and SNES games. Got it around 6-7 years ago.

The first system I played was my older brothers Atari-64, the first game system i owned was NES...I found out about the NES when a friend of mine was playing the original Famicom(we were living in Pakistan), then we vacationed back in USA and bought the NES....I then went onto own the SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii and now the Wii U, I also owned gameboy, then I owned a DSi and now the 3DS. Huge die hard Nintendo Fan!!!
