I don't know if this has been talked about since I'm new, but is the wii u going to have it? If so that would be SO cool.

Unfortunately, ms has an exclusive contract for the time being, which is a real shame, as the 360 version is horribly gimped.

Anyway its said to suck on consoles. Really late in patches and almost no modding.

I don't think so but I think it would be pretty cool. like you could have the wiiU gamepad as your inventory!

No, Microsoft owns the rights to console-minecraft. Although people have said those rights will run out eventually, so it is possible in the far future, although very unlikely. Stick to PC Minecraft for now (Or Android) It's the better version anyway, since the Xbox edition has no mods, skins cost money, it's a limited area, isn't updated up to the PC version and isn't 60 FPS. It does have integrated split-screen though, which depending on your situation, might make it worth the wait (If it ever does come to Wii U, it might not even have split-screen or dual screen)
