[Jacob]

Yarn Yoshi (tentative title) is an upcoming 2.5D side-scrolling game for the Wii U in development by Good-Feel. It will be the second Yoshi game since Yoshi's Story to star only Yoshi. The game uses similar art material of yarn and textiles from the aforementioned game and Wii game from the Kirby franchise, Kirby's Epic Yarn, which was also developed by Good-Feel.

The 2d/3D screenshots interest me more then the Kirby's knock-off. Would have preferred a different kind of craftsy art style.

Kirby is one of my top 5 game characters, and i didn't really enjoy epic yarn much, not to say that it's a bad game, i just like my kirby to be traditional. Thus, i need this yoshi to be traditional platforming. We haven't had console yoshi since N64, i don't need something too radical.

I have high hopes, I love the art style. I'm a sucker for artsy, imaginative, unique games, so I'm hoping for that lol. Never played Kirby Yarn or whatever..

i played some of kirby's epic yarn a liked it, but never played any of the yoshi games. this one looks like it will be a lot of fun

LOVE the look of this game and its defo on my to buy list,it looks like it has a nice look about it although i will say the levels in the screenshots do look ALOT better than the actual live footage they showed so hope most the game has that style of graphics

Exactly.

They really should take Yoshi's Island as a model.
IMO... Yoshi's Island is the greatest example of an entertaining+balanced platforming game.

I never cared for Kirby's Epic Yarn due to the fact you couldnt die. If they had a life bar it would be more enjoyable.
