Hi , I bought a wii u recently ,I came home installed and downloaded the update without any problems but then when the system restarted , I was asked to make mt NNID and every time i reach the mii maker part the gamepad freezez and makes a buzzing sound I tried this multiple times but it always gets stuck at this point .

Any suggestions????

is it the gamepad that freezes or console?

Well as soon as enter any alphabet  in the mii maker the wii u gampad freezes and makes aloud sound but when when I press tv the tv control option on the pad I can control my tv and the touch screen works, I think it's software related

call nintendo and get them to fix it for you i cannot suggest anything else.

I did but the problem is I live in the middle east, I got the console as a gift from Spain and so no one is ready to take it in for repair :(

You might need to contact Nintendo in Spain and ship it back to them for repair. You might be able to contact Nintendo UK if that is easier language wise. I can't think of any way for you to resolve this by yourself if it happens the same every time and occurs each time you try the ID setup.

How about trying to remove the battery for the gamepad, you could try that, also can you get into the system without creating, can format system in options.

turn it back to the store and get a new one.. if ur wii U is less than 7 days of purchase...

Must be a was of resetting the console back to factory standards? owners would need to do this if they every sold it.

I have sent  around 3-4 emails to nintendo of Spain they haven't replied back .... Also when I tried calling them their prerecorded message is in spanish only ..

Maybe try Nintendo UK.

ok ... finally got them but the problem is that NONE of them speak english ..... NO ONE !!!!!!!!
