I know right! I was already hoping Revelations was an indication of what is to come. People shouldn't fear the word reboost by the way. They also said they won't ditch old characters.

I'm excited by this announcement
they said they would got back to its horror roots for resident evil 6.... didnt happen. Im ganna wait and see, but if its anything like revelations then i will be more then happy.

I honestly like the direction they're going with Resident Evil 5 and 6. Plus, the last time I read something like this, Resident Evil 6 was the result. In any case, I don't believe going "back to its roots" would increase potential sales.

You're both right. Capcom stated that survival horror doesn't sell, but also stated that "Resident Evil 5 would be the last of its kind," amongst other things. No one knew how it would turn out until we got to play it

While I personally stopped caring about RE after they released 4, I can see why people would prefer them to the old ones.
Therefore, they should make a reboot series while keeping the new one. Yep. That will solve everything.

Yeah, forgot it was 3rd person, I just meant the way the ZombiU doesn't try to be an action game and you can go ages without meeting up with any zombies until you stop expecting them, then when they do come they scare the monkeys out of you

I think that they just need to slow down because they seem to just be milking the franchise for all it is worth at this point. I personally think it is just a problem of them just rushing everything and not taking enough time to make the game.
