depends what their strategy is there's no way of knowing yet though i'd be expecting them too be taking a hit on the hardware so they can make it back on software that's usually how it goes.

With the rumored hardware, it will be at least $400 assuming they do take a hit on the hardware cost.

I think they will probably end up selling it for $450, it all depends on the final specs and wether or not they want to take a loss on it or not.

And Nintendo don't love money? Xbox 360 is kinda cheap and PS3 was one of the cheapest bluray players at the time. They are all companies, therefore their goal is to earn as much money as possible.

when ps3 and 360 released, it costed arround 600 euro in my country!!! 599 lol. That translates up to 600 dollars.

The leaked specs put the console easily within the $350-400 range at launch. They could take a loss and release at $300 however.
