I've considered using the Ouya for indie game development. These upgrades would definitely help.

It may be a good idea for a phone but not for an IOS gaming platform. They need to get one design and keep it for a while.

No interest in this at all. Until we get real games on android and not 20 versions of Angry Birds... don't care.

I don't have a problem with mobile games, but I have a problem with the business behind it. Yes, this is a general statement but a lot of the games are time wasters. The games that aren't, I feel are over priced for how little content is in it, or have ridiculous micro transactions. This is NOT always the case, but I get tired is seeing Square put out each episode of their RPGs for $5. It's not the fact that they are overpriced, it's that it makes me feel cheated.

Like I said, it's not the games, it's the business practice.

A million times disagree. There aren't any mobile "games" I consider games. Lots of garbage shovelware that I would never pay money for.

Exactly. Even the best IOS games still make you wish you were playing a real videogame.

It's the only way they can compete with consoles.

I was an early adopter to the Ouya. Why you might ask, Because its cheap as crap and hell even if the games are not great i will use to to turn my TV into a smart tv etc.

Problem is that mobile games were never really intended to be a platform for in depth games. The best games available on the IOS market were all intended to be games you could play on the fly (during a bus ride for instance) and these are the ones that sell well, examples of these are fruit ninja, jetpack joyride and Angry birds.

Some companies are trying to make in depth and lengthy games work on the IOS platform but really it just doesn't work that well.

Thats just my opinion, feel free to argue.

Ouya sucks.

No power.

Might as well play in your iPad.

Better yet, get a wii u.

$100 for that turd?

No thanks.

That's $100 you didn't have to spend if you have an iOS or android device.

Plus, if you have an iOS device, you can spend the $100 on an apple tv and have a superior experience.

Better yet, spend $200 more and get the next gen machine you actually wanted. With games you'll actually love.
