Does anyone here have a favorite place to just talk with friends and relax?

I personally enjoy going to a nearby beach as a hang out spot. It's always a pretty calm place with plenty of people to sorta just "watch." Not saying I look at people all the time, but like people-watching.

At my school, we have a recreation building and I tend to be there a lot to listen to what stories my friends have to say. The place also serves some decent food so it's a great place to go to during the middle of the day.

And when I was in high school, there was an old bunker used in some war I don't know of. It was a pretty neat place to just watch the sunset because it was positioned on top of mountain. It's a decent hike getting up there too, so I'd go there on some weekends.

Your turn. Any place in mind?

There is this certain park that I always visit if I ever want to relax, jog or have a barbi and picnic. It's a specific one which I won't mention, otherwise you'd roughly know where I live. :P
It was the first place I took my first and last girlfriend to a date; same place where we had our wedding too.

The sheer amount of memories I've had at this park makes it a priceless landmark to me.

There's a place nearby my house where my friend's go to chill like every thursday night called Tapioca Express and it's a milk tea place that serves food and drinks plus they play certain j-pop/k-pop music there for entertainment.

On weekends I go out for a bike ride or go walk climbing around mission peak just to go see the sunrise or sunset depending on time of course.

To be honest, my friends are hoons, and being road idiots is a way we get together. We also chill at our usual spot, a bowling and lasertag complex at Darling Harbour.

As for me being alone, I usually just go for long walls around my local suburbs

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

That would also make you a hoon. I disapprove of hooning and I have now reported you to the authorities.

No where because my down is dead! We dont even have a bowling alley! Pathetic for a town of 40,000. Stardust used to come to my town. Just ask him why it sucks. It annoys me to talk about my dump. Im glad im moving in a year or two.

Depends on where I am. When I lived in NC it was the closest Walmart. When I lived in Tampa it was the Wine Cellar Bistro and Bar next to my house. Now in California it's Barnes and Noble or Souplantation. In Iraq it was the mwr coffee shop (first time) and then gym (second time). In spain , Germany, ireland , and Iceland it was the airport USO, lol

I like hanging out at places with tranquility. Places where you can get away from it all like parks and forests and just enjoy the nature around you. It's a good place to to clear your mind.

I like going on walks when I can or other places that are nice and peaceful. Sadly I haven't had the time to do those things lately.

I like quiet places. There is a reservoir I like to go to. I usually ride my bike there. I usually ride about 5 miles out to get to the usual spot I sit down. I like watching the birds in the water. The best time to go is late afternoon. It's also kind of a good place for photography. Other than that, I enjoy going into coffee/tea shops to do stuff on my computer (projects, essays, ect.).

When it comes to hanging out with friends, it just kind of varies.

How do people who like hanging around quiet places feel about being in noisy and busy places?

Like a popular mall or somewhere in a city.
