I remember playing Need for Speed on the PS 1 back in the day...I don't even remember what year it was released. XD I believe it was one of the few realistic racing games that I enjoyed.

Haven't played any recent games from the series thus far, but I'll be buying this one to play alongside my sister.

No, the Wii U version comes with the Ultimate Speed Pack DLC which includes the Pagani Zonda R, McLaren F1LM, Lamborghini Aventador J, Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, and Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.

I'm just scared we will get left out on future DLC just like Mass Effect 3 will. I hope EA isnt going to cop out on Nintendo like Activision is.

Are you sure that's not just the PS3/360/PC versions?

I'm sure the Wii U will also get the DLC. Plus he keeps mentioning the Wii U in the video. Since the DLC is coming out today on the PS3/360/PC their main focus isn't the Wii U.

^^ As corny as it is.... I think they did a great job of getting the point across without a lousy voice over narrator telling us exactly what's going on in the game. Now let's just hope that people buy the game at launch....

That was actually a good commercial!  The last line is epic "make trouble together"  Wish they would have put a "How will U play next" after that.

I want to get this game but I can't really justify paying full price for it when its been out on other platforms for a while and it should be lower in price.

Good point, though they did add quite a bit to the game to take advantage of the gamepad.

you could buy this for the PS3 or X360 have still have money left over for all the DLC that the WiiU version will never have.

Sure, but I don't want to.  The game didn't appeal to me on the PS3 and 360, and if I really wanted it before, I'd have bought it on steam.

In my opinion that still doesn't justify charging regular retail price for it. It should be at most $40 in the US and £25 in the UK.

The 6 month old versions are still full price for this game.
