My friend personally saw this. She said there was an earthquake after the meteorite hit the surface. Some windows were smashed. Luckily, she wasn't injured. A lot of people, however, weren't that lucky.

Guess what. They are caused by the meteorite.
Perhaps, you meant that it might be caused rather by following sonic boom, which, in turn is caused by the crash itself.

Nah. I saw this video a little before on another forum, and thought it happened last year since the date was a year off. Some fakes pictures were also hovering around for a while too, so I assumed it was fake for a while.

Na, this video is not fake as well. The problem there is that the guy's camera shows slightly different date (the year, to be precise). I assume he just didn't care to set it properly.
As far as I know, there's a factory in that building.

My mon and we watched alot of the videos they all posted! No one has died, I think if I read it correctly, just injured from the sonic boom, because the metroid fell in a lake!
