Easiest way to track Pokemon that you own?

21 November 2014 - 08:10 PM

I find that the in-game Pokedex isn't very good for this... it doesn't really work well with the evolutions, if I catch a Cubchoo for example, and evolve it into a Beartic, it will show the pokeball next to both of their names... this makes it really hard for me to track what I actually own as I'm going for a living pokedex...

I'm currently using an excel spreadsheet, but it's really bothersome having to sit with my laptop next to me, and untick one and retick another every time I evolve a pokemon... is there any easier way? or am I just stupid and is there some way to filter the Pokedex to make it how I want?

New here (kinda, not really?)

I actually originally had an account here in 2012, but eventually became inactive and sold my Wii U and game collection last year because I just got really bored and burnt out (ughhh, the regret)

So right now I'm just focusing on re-buying what I really enjoyed and making sure I get good deals for them, and I'm going to get a New 3DS XL this November with quite a few games (comes out early here in Australia)

Other than that I've just been playing a bit of the Wii/3DS/Gamecube... probably not going to get a Wii U until next year, but I figured I'd like to come to a Nintendo themed forum.
