If you read the article he is saying it feels new because of the way he was playing the game due to gamepad use. Read the OP. Click the link and read the entire article. And, yes it was "new" whether derivative and same "ole" to you, Black Flag was the latest in the series for him when he looked back on his own gameplay.

Remember that thread you made (it might be hard to remember seeing as you've made about 45 this past week....) about trolling, and you being a secret troll....yeah this is the perfect example.
Let us all gather here today and bash on Mourn and flamebait and troll and talk about unicorn tongue.
I never once thought I would miss Zinix...but god damn, he wasnt the hero we deserved but he certainly is the hero we need to drown out these unicorn tongue threads.
All things considered; Mourn has done a damn fine job of running this forum, and as much as I hate to say it so has GC. The only way to expedite this forums trip to hell in a hand basket would be to remove them from power.

I find this interesting because I saw on another forum that someone had posted "pros and cons" of 3DS vs Vita and they claimed you did not need to buy the same game for each platform to allow cross play on vita. They said purchases were transferred between the two consoles, unlike Wii U and 3DS.

1. DT owns the game mechanism sophisticatedly merged action games and shooter games together.
2. DT development is going smoothly. In another words we finishes editing ending movie the other day.
3. DT will be released next year. Nintendo has already announced in their press release.
4. Scale of DT is more than Ninja Gaiden in solo play – story mode.
5. DT demolishes the standard of past console games in on-line multi-play.
6. Almost all specifications I wanted to do were implemented. I got an up-close look at good manners of the great forerunner, COD, BF, GOW, and my loving HALO. On that basis, we added totally brandnew playabilities that only we can create.
7. Anyone can enjoy this game; from casual gamers to hard-core gamers. Let me put it this way. You guys can throw a fun party, or can kill each other in realistic war. You can play your heart out
