#133130 Who else is starting to think the Wii U is only as powerful as the 360/PS3?

Talk about disappointment...
Then a year later, gears of war showed everyone how awesome the 360 was.
If it was t for madden or king kong, you'd think the 360 was not an upgrade at all. Unfortunately, the wii u has not been final long enough for anyone to know what they were developing with until games were performance budgeted on the safe side and nearly done.
The wii u has a strange launch. And it's due to nintendos hardware finalizing process. They started with dev kits slightly more powerful than 360. And they built up from there. Even up to e3 this year.
But that's not the real story. Ports are. And all we've seen are ports, an exclusive game that is basically a port of 360 code and rushed to change from one game to a completely different game in about a year, graphically unambiguous first party games, etc.
Give it until e3 next year. Will be a whole lot different.
The hardware is dry very good. And many levels above 360/ps3.

Anyway, it's just going to be brutal..around every corner there's another zombie trying to bite your face off!
This is the game that made me preorder a Wii U, it shows what the future of gaming can be like..
..might just get checked out by my doctor before I play this though 😖

There's no reason to believe it, the OP is clearly delusional.I think it's a good idea not to believe this, otherwise i might end up banning technology from my home T_T

This sucks. Unlocking acheivments were half the fun back when my 360 was working.
wow, then those games had to be real good if half of the fun are the achievements lol

Does it have to be USB 2.0 or 3.0, and what format does it need fat32 or NTFS
From what I understand it works with both, but with 3.0 it only will work as if it were 2.0 with speeds and stuff at least that is what the guy at best buy told me. As for what format I have no clue, not really a techy guy but I pick mine up in a week so I'll find out soon enough
The Wii U has USB 2.0 connections. A USB 3.0 hard drive will work but it will be over kill unless you're also planning on using it with a computer with USB 3.0. As what format I don't think we know yet what the Wii U supports but whatever it is you should be able to format it through a computer so I wouldn't worry about that. Seagate is probably the best brand to get or otherwise something like Western Digital will suffice too. I've used both and I find Seagate to be more reliable.

#126021 Confirmed Wii U GamePad Lasts 3-5 Hours, Fully Charges In 2.5 Hours

If i'm not mistaken I don't think the battery is user replaceable. If that's the case they won't be any third party batteries.

The upad can be charged while playing, it's just a 3DS charger. It's passive unlike the xbox.
I have several 3DS/DSi USB charging cables, so I'll probably just keep it plugged into the system or my PC while I'm playing. Small apartment and all...
If I take 5 hours on the toilet, something's wrong with me.
