Last time VR was popular Nintendo tried Virtual Boy. VR like 3D VR is a fad that pops in every so often praised as the next big thing then fades away again. VR as long as you need something on your head will never take off.

Indeed. The problem with being dark for the sake of being dark is it leaves no room for contrast or juxtaposition. When dark things happen, the impact is muted. Like blue on black.

But when you have that contrast, that juxtaposition

It can make quite the impact.

 

Pretty much, if you want to see a dark Zelda then Majora's Mask is hands down the biggest one.

Beat the final boss last night but still only 67% complete.  Finding secret exits is always the toughest thing for me

Retro has made the best DKC game of all time in TF, I believe. But who knows what 90s Rare could have done with the capabilities of Wii U. I feel fortunate to have experienced them all while they were new.

 

This insults Earthbound. I find anything recreated in Minecraft an insult. It's takes something good and makes it look like crap.

Haven't got to try Lego city but it's use in dues ex is amazing. Worth every cent. Can't imagine playing the game without the gamepad.

 

Yes Deus Ex is amazing on Wii U. Gamepad integration from the ground up for this game. I also think NFSMW U does a great job utilizing the gamepad.

Yes because Donkey Kong Country is a "casual game".

It's a platformer for children, can it get anymore casual? I don't think it can.

people won't buy a console if there are no games for it, thats the fact of the matter, nothing Nintendo can do can change this, if someone hasn't already got a WiiU who knows the WiiU's situation they won't buy one because of backwards compatibility or a trade-in scheme,

Well, I do agree generally games are needed and that these ideas won't work. However, a lot of people have bought the PS4 and Xbox One and there's not a whole lot of great must have titles for those.
