Hopefully it's not another metroid.
I think they could do with moving on from just being the "metroid" studio.

Something in a similar vein might be nice though, a shooter or action game to appeal to children like call of duty or battlefield does.

Thats not similar to metroid at all. Thats the exact opposite of metroid. Call of duty kids cant even figure out how to make metroid crawl.

Sounds like they might be working on a new ip by them talking about how much they like dk and metroid and how they would love to 'visit them again someday'...

By new IP I just mean not dk or metroid, not necessarily a new IP, though I would LOVE a new original IP from retro. Ill be happy just as ong as its a deep immersive adventure.
 

Nope. End of 3 we see Samus rumored Brother ship chase after her

Samus doesnt have a brother, rumoured or otherwise, that was Sylux, overall awesomesauce badarse and my main in multiplayer on metroid hunters, in his stolen federation prototype ship, the Delano 7.


The ship was probably slightly tweaked because such a primitive design from the ds game would look bad on the wii, and likely to make the ship look more like Sylux's alt form.

After playing Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, I'll buy whatever they put out. No questions asked.

But for how much longer? The PS4 and Xbox One will have sports games, FPS's, RPG's, the PS4 will have JRPG's, indie titles similar to what's on Steam while Nintendo will rely heavily on the same old franchises and will have the odd great exclusive like X and Bayonetta 2, but that's just not enough, not in comparison to the games that will feature on the Xbox One and PS4.

You know, you might have convinced me had you not compared Nintendos Anemic greatness, to massive piles of diarrea dog crap.

I will take one game like X over 99% of the garbage that came to my ps360, any day of the week. ANd to the damn near entirety of the diarrea tsuname heading to ps4/xbone.

And to top it off. There is nothing. NOTHING that has been shown on ps4 or Xbox, that doesnt look like a complete and absolute waste of time, or is coming to PC anyways. With the Sole exception of RIME, which MS actually rejected, because it is blatantly clear they dont have a single clue whatsoever what actual great GAMING experiences are, and just want to peddle easily marketable crap to easily manipulatbale morons, and dont want a damn thing on their system to make their pet idiots think their might be more in the world than crap.

Most people on here also forgot about dues ex to.gamepad features are amazing and can still be used in off tv mode.

 

Oh I forgot about Dues Ex.

 

I think another game to mention that is 3rd party would be Deus Ex. That game is a great port and made superior with the gamepad innovation.

The gamepad so far has no use outside of Couchtuner me and that's the biggest flaw of the wiiu in terms of a selling point. Seriously it's up to Nintendo to actually show how to use the game pad cause as of now they have no idea how to use it.

About X though. 3-4 mechs on screen at once while battling a constantly moving monster, particle effects filling the screen, moving grass everywhere, those textures, the sheer scale! Yeah Wii U underpowered....

 

Day one buy here.

The Wii U is capable of producing good graphics and great visuals, the problem with the Wii U is the tablet controller, the architecture for the Wii U is not third party developer friendly and the fact the Wii U lacks really compelling software. 

You brain peoples damage with this retread ridiculous tripe. Get the fuk off these forums and go to VGcharts. These idiotic posts fit nicely with those brain dead  pickled egg farts.

Huh. The mech lost its left arm in the battle. Interesting.

And then it permanantly lost the use of 2 abilities from its hot bar...

Bet thats going to be expensive to fix.

We got more footage of Mariokart 8. It looks Amazing!! Neat tracks, and plenty of retro tracks confirmed as well.

We got a new character announcement in Little Mac for Smash.

X gameplay!!! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PEOPLE YOU ALL WANTED THIS FOR SO LONG AND NOW YOU ARE ALL JUST SAYING MEH?! WHY?? IT WAS AMAZING AND EXACTLY WHAT WE EXPECTED AT THE SAME TIME!!

 

Bayonetta 2 story (Which was the first trailer to honestly turn my head for that game as it started to explain the story)

Donkey Kong even looks really good.

 

We got tons of indie support and such thrown in as well.

 

 

If you all payed attention to the pacing of these directs you would know that Nintendo saves all of the big Wii U stuff for the end.

We got a lot of the games that appeal to the younger audience for the 3DS that will keep that market growing over the next half a year.

Monster Hunter even got announced for the west.
