Rumor: Wii U to support 4 U pads?

30 May 2012 - 08:02 AM

After this(http://mynintendonew...by-ubisoft-dev/) recent leak, further review of the supposed GPU suggests that the Wii U MIGHT just support 4 U pads.

http://www.amd.com/u...overview.aspx#2

The Supposed GPU states that it has, and I quote, "
  • AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology
  • Native support for up to 5 simultaneous displays
  • Independent resolutions, refresh rates, color controls, and video overlays
  • Display grouping
  • Combine multiple displays to behave like a single large display"
[/list]While this isn't any confirmation in the slightest, it IS possible that if this is the GPU, that 4 U pads can be used at one time.

What do you guys think? Possible, or not likely in the slightest.

Nintendo Letter Box!?

16 February 2012 - 01:52 PM

So I was reading the comments section of an article about the connectivity of the 3DS and the Wii U. He brought up how last time he got a note on SwapNote, rather than saying go to SwapNote, it said access Nintendo Letter Box. I checked my 3DS to see about this, and sure enough it was there.

Here's the notification on the note before:Posted Image

Here's the Notification for the Note that changed:Posted Image
Sorry for bad camera quality, it's from my phone.

What do you guys think this means? Is it just a name change, or is there something else involved?

PSVita no BC for PSP & A Fan base divided

08 February 2012 - 01:11 PM

http://vita.ign.com/.../1218182p1.html

This article confirms that I'm not going to get a Vita for a while, considering ALL of my PSP games are on UMD.

But that's not the main reason I posted this topic, if you scroll down to the comments section, the Sony fanboys are arguing about this issue. How could one detail cause a fan base to squabble amongst themselves like this?

Were game devs. Lazy?

02 February 2012 - 03:03 PM

I was reading about game devs. about the Wii, and I wondered why most of their games wern't very good. They said it was too hard to program for.

So that begs the question, Were the game devs. just lazy, and didn't want to learn how to make a good game, or was the hardware just that "weak."

What do you guys think?

Edit: Added a poll for my convenience.

Greetings Programs!
