#107480 Could Platinum become a Nintendo first/second party?

Posted by FrostySweetness on 14 September 2012 - 11:56 AM

For real, I think Nintendo will treat Sonic and their other franchises good...just like Capcom needs to sell Nintendo Megaman instead of not doing it cause when Nintendo makes games off him, they will be mad cause that could had been their money.

I've been thinking this is very likely. They're getting extremely cozy. Getting platinum added to their first party roster would make Nintendo's first party lineup even more amazing. Not to mention, a large influx of new IPs from Nintendo.

#107959 Nintendo Land and NSMBU boxarts

Here's a bigger version: Posted Image
It is messy, but I like the detail of it. It's good. Also, see that screen with a hand on top of the gamepad? He looks like the tutorial guy. I don't like his bowtie and his floating hat, though.

#107935 Wii U have Gamecube Compatibility?

Posted by SolxBurst on 15 September 2012 - 07:01 AM

It wont be backwards compatible with gamecube games, or controllers. But there is a strong possibility of them being on Virtual Console.

The Nintendo Network sign is there, So hopefully NSMBU has online Co-op and Nintendo Land has online multiplayer also.

#107453 Basic Bundle Worth It?/Anyone getting it?

Posted by Ixchel on 14 September 2012 - 11:35 AM

Do you have a spare $50? That's just the question. I just see the Premium as a no brainer.

Yeah it's really looking that way for a lot of people. I'm just questioning if it's worth it in the end in my case. I'm not sure what I'll feel Nintendo Land will be worth. A 30minute game then put away forever? Or is it actually fun like a few members suggested?
Added to the fact that I probably won't buy eShop games and it can prob only hold 1 or 2 retail ones without an external HD, the bonuses for Premium are going to be minimal.
But as you said, the $50 may be worth it.

Personally, I just see the Premium bundle as a better buy. Color means nothing to me.
I dislike blue.

Same answer as above for the first part. But yeah color doesn't mean much to me but I personally prefer white.

#106909 The Wii U has no chance -_-

Posted by Tricky Sonic on 13 September 2012 - 08:39 AM

Umm state where you got this. Last I checked, none of the specs have even been talked about..

No specs have been revealed. Obviously someone is a graphic whore and is being a downer.

#106526 Japanese Nintendo Direct Confirmed for Tomorrow (Wii U Focused)

Posted by Noonabites on 12 September 2012 - 11:56 AM

I think it's safer for us Americans to just wait until the press conference. No point in watching something we're probably going to get in more depth a couple of hours later (with more sleep at that).
