Since I am personally thrilled to play pikmin 3, I began to wish that more strategy games (rts and turnbased) would be released sooner or later for the Wii U.  And from what I noticed, the gamepad would make RTS games more viable imo.

 

I would love to see a Civilization game, Heroes of Might and Magic or even an age of empires 2 remake get released for the Wii U.

 

What do you guys think?  Should the Wii U have more Strategy games?

It definitely should. It should get MMORPGs as well.

You are most certainly correct good sir, ever since M$ purchased RARE, RARE couldn't do anything right.

 

I purchased Perfect Dark zero at one point and to say that game was a disappointment is an understatement.  And I heard they also ruined the Banjo Kazooie franchise as well.  Didn't know they made Star Fox Adventures though.

M$ did ruin those great series. And yes they did SFA. It's one of my favorite games of all time, so you'll probably notice how much I'll be referring to it on the forum!

RARE should come back to nintendo and remake Goldeneye 007 for the wii u.  Its a wish at least, but unlike my own fantasy world, reality is harsh...

CoD honestly ruined the FPS genre IMHO.  Seriously, in the 90s  they used to have games like Unreal Tournament, Doom, Quake, Turok, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and a number of others with large amounts of variety and different aesthetic appeal and even gameplay differences.  Nowadays, its either CoD or games like CoD.  

I know right? I have never been a shooter fan, but even I can see what CoD has done to the gaming industry.

I liked the wind waker, I just didn't like it as much as all the other Zelda games. I thought the dungeons were easy, I didn't like traveling the huge ocean( even you have to admit that got tedious) and I thought the world felt empty, there was only a few islands worth exploring. Although I loved the cel shading!! Only for WW though, I hope they don't bring it back for the new HD Zelda.

lol that actually turned out pretty well. "I love 'em all, the last one's WW though". Yea I see what you mean. When I was young I would hate traveling the sea too. The Hyrule field was awesome in Ocarina of Time and you could do whatever you wanted. You weren't limited to a boat. 

I still loved WW, probably because it's the first Zelda I've played (although I have played every single Zelda since then).

Oh, and there's the sour grapes again ..wonderful 101 might be my last wii U purchase if the ps4 Is released in the UK before Xmas. I'll trade it all in and load up on ps4 games.

I don't mean to be harsh, but you seem to be overestimating the PS4 the same way people are constantly underestimating the Wii U.

OMG bad graphics=bad game. No blood and guns=kiddy. Colorful=Nintendo and kiddy. PS4 will be 30x better than the Wii U.

^those who claim that are numerous. Those who claim that are stupid. There are tons of stupid people. Therefore, there are tons who claim the Wii U will fail. Is it true? No. Of course not.

The GameCube is the system of my childhood. It had the best games IMO. It's gen was the last gen before Sony/M$ introduced trash online, scam DLC and angry fanboys.

That made me laugh at first. 

Actually, to answer your question, do you have a smartphone? I have a 4S so I'd never consider getting the iPhone 5... If you do have a smartphone, then go with the Wii U. If not, you might want to consider what you need the most (yea, the WiiU and a smartphone have different uses).

Is this confirmation that it's shovelware or that it's an incredibly good price?
