I'm fine with this now, Skype works great and we don't have to worry about what we talk about and we can decide who joins our conversation.

With the recent expiration of the IP chat service, Feld0 and I have reached a decision on the fate of the chat.  I'm sorry to say, but we have decided to discontinue the chat.

Let me make it clear why we chose to do so, the chat was not helping the forum community and has slowly devolved over time.  Despite what the chat used to be in the past, it became a place to spam, questionable content, and a hotbed of drama (with various issues that leaked onto the forums themselves).  There was no one member that did this, it is the nature of a real time chat.  In a real time chat, users are less likely to act decent towards other users, whether it be because of the moderation difficulties or because they simply cannot control themselves.  There were no other real options possible to "save" the chat, the chat itself was incredibly difficult to moderate, even with administrative permissions.

The purpose and goal of this site is to be a great forum and community for discussing the WiiU and Nintendo, but unfortunately the chat has put a tremendous strain on the community.  Without the chat, we can focus more on strengthening the community and making it the best we can.

Man, this really goes to say how far the forums have fallen. Back when the first awards were going on, everyone could take these categories as a joke. It's pretty sad that people have to get butthurt over something as pointless as this. Anyway, looking forward to the results!

Why does this sound so familiar 

I'm just hoping mario kart for wii-u takes some pointers from Sonic racers, bring in more variety of characters and have variety in the tracks.

A 3D platformer and a cart racer. huehuehuehuheuhuehuheuhue
 
On topic: Honestly, I never know what to expect with Nintendo with the 3D Mario games.
 
As for Mario Kart 8 or whatever, I think adding third party characters would actually be a neat edition to the series, as well as maybe, like...

I cant believe this.......if anything that was one of the strongest parts of their company.......what is wrong with them this could hurt them badly

If I made a banner and it was just horrible, because i have the art skills of a kindergartner, but I still managed to get enough votes....would it still be put up?

I haven't really seen any 3rd party games coming to the Wii U that have really caught my interest other than Rayman, but then again, I haven't done all that much research.
