#306108 Hyrule Warriors - Wind Waker

Posted by NintendoReport on 28 December 2014 - 07:54 PM

Upset? Absolutely not. There is already plenty of representation and content in the game, even without DLC. I suspect the game has sold well enough that we will be getting a sequel.

#304387 Play Hyrule Warriors a lot?

Posted by Atticus on 05 December 2014 - 06:57 AM

Does anyone play HW as religiously as I do?

I ask because I always play Network Link squares daily in Adventure Mode for the 50,000 rupees it pays out and always play friend squares which in turn pays them 50,000. The problem is no friends on my list return the favor or just don't play the game. If you've played real deep into HW Adventure Mode you know rupees become super important to level up weaker characters.

Does anyone else here play a fair amount at least and makes it a point to go after friend squares because if you do...

...to be on my friend's list.

#302991 Reports Suggest BigRedButton Exodus Ahead of Sonic Boom Launch

Looks like @BigRedButtonEnt had begun to fall apart long before the release of Sonic Boom. Many employees left in July. Not looking good.

Another something - the original producer of Sonic Boom left BRB in September 2013.

@tssznews @BigRedButtonEnt Some of the people who left include senior designers and artists, the project manager, production assists, etc.

You can read some more tweets at the link here http://www.tssznews....ic-boom-launch/

#301903 first Watchdogs WiiU screenshots and info

Posted by KeptMyWiiUAndLeftTheForums on 04 November 2014 - 08:15 PM

honestly, I was kind of expecting it to look like Ocarina of Time level graphics.

how many copies do you think they will sell

No more than 100 I hope. That's the number of sales that would correctly reflect the amount of effort put into the game. $60 for a game 6 months late with 4 screenshots and no gaeplay vids 1 week before release.

Aha!

Ahsahahahaha!

Suck my d[i]ck ubisoft.

#301646 exclusive on the wiiu

Posted by Raiden on 02 November 2014 - 12:15 PM

Nintendo don't own Sega so I doubt they can pay Sega to make them make a certain game...

Bayonetta is a SEGA owned IP despite PG created and devloped it. So Nintendo already funded a SEGA game this gen.

#301543 Koei Tecmo - Hyrule Warriors exceeds expectations

Posted by Raiden on 31 October 2014 - 04:25 PM

I would honestly call that a fluke. Or their marketing and the demo actually worked. I only got the game because of how much that first trailer hyped me up. And I didn't even originally like the demo too much. One of my top 3 3DS games now. If a FE Warriors was on 3DS it might sell well. Doubtful for WiiU. Two niche series on a smaller install base console? Wouldn't work too well.

Nah was not a fluke. They made the game more accessable to newcomers. Older games are not very welcoming for people new to the series or SRPGs. Don't forget many people are hyped for SMTXFE

#301507 Koei Tecmo - Hyrule Warriors exceeds expectations

I been saying that since day 1. If we get another it should be Fire Emblem. I'm pretty Excited for Dragon Quest Heroes. I will snag it on PS3 since I don't have a PS4 yet. Nintendo with it's 2015 releases is making it impossible for me to get one next year.

Today several Japanese companies released their Q2 earnings reports alongside Nintendo. Koei Tecmo released its financial statement to investors and offered a Q&A session, in which one investor inquired as to how well Hyrule Warriors performed versus their expectations for the game. Koei Tecmo couldn’t answer the question outright with sales numbers since Nintendo is responsible for overseas distribution, but the executive did reveal that Japanese sales are in line with expectations and overseas sales exceeded what the company expected.

The executive went on to state that the company expects higher sales outside of Japan due to more shipments coming in Q3 and Q4, so it looks like Hyrule Warriors performed well in both parent companies eyes.

who cares IMO.

I just agree and game. Only people who care are the fine line readers which is only important when buying a car, buying a house or getting surgery LMAO

#299373 Hyrule Warrior OT- The AI in this game just wants to be slaughtered.

According to GameRankings and Metacritic, it's just as good as Destiny.
