agree with everyone above, because yes it is DLC, I'm thinking for $40, but is it possible nintendo is also doing a retail release?
maybe a Super Luigi U as a collectors item with some little figurine bonus or something?

EA without a doubt. Until i get my NFL 2K series back, and even then, screw them for cheating me out it for 8 going on 9 years now.

I really wanna go back and play heartgold and platnium, but i can't find them for cheaper than $30 :-(
I'm also kinda concerned if there'll be a transfer system to X and Y. I'm sure it will, but its a little unsettling since its not confirmed.
Pokemon is the reason why no other company can be competition to Nintendo handhelds. It literally has all demographics covered: It's primary audience is little kids, because of the overall look and feel of it, it has the teenage crowd due to nostalgia, and it has the adult, competitive players due to it's always-evolving metagame.
Right. As i've said before, Nintendo can never fail and is never doomed simply because of pokemon alone.
IMO, if it came down to ONE franchise saving and moving systems, whether handheld or console, i believe its pokemon. Sure Zelda is special, and mario pushes some nice sales, but nothing is as fast selling and enduring globally like pokemon.

I think the problem with the New Super Mario Bros. is that, despite the graphical diferences, you really can`t tell them apart: they have the same look, sound and play out exactly the same. And there are 4 games in this series.
Old 2D Mario games were very different from one another, so each one was memorable on it`s own. If they had changed the look and sounds in the New series and changed the overworld map, maybe the series would be more admired than it is.
Although i think New Super Mario Bros U is the best game in the series, if there`s a chance it won`t be highly regarded and remembered in years to come, it`s only because there are other 3 games in the series to hold it back from reaching that status.
Nintendo needs to do with the next 2D Mario, what they have done with 3D Marios: make it fresh! If it wasn`t for Galaxy 2, there wouldn`t be two 3D Mario games alike.
exactly! And i feel the same way about NSMB U, no doubt the best of the 4, but as you said, its the fact that there are 4 similar games.
i'm glad and very excited for Yoshi's Island 3DS, but the next 2D mario needs imo:
varying yoshis and being able to keep them
a whole new soundtrack
new graphical style
and maybe shouldn't release for at least 2 more years

That whole rare thing isn't completely true, Rare also made donkey kong country 1 2 and 3, and those are on Virtual console, so i cant see why DK64 or diddy kong racing cant be on VC. They did after all remake the game for DS.
Personally, i want to also get some DS games on the eshop, either 3ds or wiiu.
There are ALOT of games i want to play, that you can't find in store, and the ones you find online cost way to much!!!
advance wars
pokemon
mario and luigi partners in time
etc

and the story seems intresting

I already own this game for the 3ds. I have no plans to buy it again unless it goes on sale for $20. But these are some pretty cool features.
same.
But even though this may not seem like a major deal, these little things are what i like about wii-u

I almosted voted for Gen lll because it holds so much nostalgia for me. But I ended up choose Gen ll due to Heracross being in that Gen. (Heracross is my favorite pokemon).
WOW! exactly my thoughts. Heracross along with amphros, and ledian. Although Butterfree IS my favorite pokemon. possibly because of the cartoon, but, i have butterfree on my team every GEN, no matter what.
Gen 5 is ALOT better than people give credit, too many people are afraid to try blk and whte.

This either means that EA will stop becoming butt-hurt mother doges OR that the new CEO will be even worse.
I'm hoping there is a faint chance that Crysis 3 will be reinstated with a special edition on the Wii U
These CEO's don't fall to far from the tree....I look for this next one to be worse.
The only thing this new CEO can do for me, which he wont, is not renew the NFL exclusive license.

personally, I'm starting to question what is good 3rd party support?
Capcom? meh,
square enix? only if its kingdom hearts 3
Ubisoft? they've supported wii-u, but do we really need more raving rabbids and assassins creeds?
activision?......no thanks
EA?......NO THANKS!
My point is, as a whole, ps3, xbox, wiii, some of these 3rd party companies are slacking. It's not like we have a ton of 3rd party titles that are amazing must buys.
Tomb raider just came out, but prior to that, what has been big for 2013...Dead space 3? again, no thanks,
For me, at this point, I'm not to hung on 3rd party. I need the 3rd parties to STEP IT UP 1st.
