Black ops 2, assassins creed3, mass effect3 are three games with online modes you could easily put over 500 pluss hours on easily and that's per game a lot of people have played mass effect or the trilogy but a lot haven't assassins creed was released shortly before launched and black ops what days later so it was for launch? Personaly I 'm not into racing or sports games but there on there way and some are out. Some are ports but with online that doesn't mean diddly squat and to complain about a redone monster hunter game redone in hd with all the extra content,lol. I do agree that it would be nice to have a metroid game though.

So what happens when ive already owned those for months on my 360? And if i already own a 360, and can get all those games with a much larger online community to play with then on wii u, why should i buy a wii u for those games when i can just buy them on the 360?

You know when this console was announced, right? June 2011. That's almost two years ago.There's no excuse for Nintendo not to release quality titles. Ports are lazy, cheap, and the majority of the time filled with bugs/frame rate issues. Publishers and developers had plenty of time to put out quality titles that actually take advantage of the Wii U hardware. Nintendo promised us that the Wii U launch would be different from the 3DS's launch, but they lied. They simply wanted to rush out this console to have the advantage of saying they sold the most units.The OS is incredibly slow, some games freeze on you, and Miiverse's moderating system is a joke.This is simply unacceptable.  We have every right to be upset if we feel we aren't getting our moneys worth.

We don't want to play old titles that the HD twins had already, we want games that actually feel like they're worth a damn.  People have every right to be upset when this console going to be out for three months in February and there's only one worthwhile title that isn't shovelware crap.

That's an impressive collection you have there! My collection is: two GBA's, 1 DS, 1 Wii, 1 Wii U, (broken) PS3, PSP, and a computer that's really not great for gaming... I guess you could say that I was born into the age of graphic whore COD fanboys (13 years old), but I am proud to not be one of them (I favor Nintendo consoles).

When Chris and Tim left some guys founded a new studio. But most of them were newer guys. Some of the first crew left Rare inly a year ago. I now gave up on them though, Rare is now a soulless production company runned by the Microsoft bullies. I still have some hope for Chris Seavor and the likes. Maybe misplaced... A man can hope. I still wonder though, In the Nintendo era they really shined....was it Nintendo's doing after all?

Nah, it wasnt just nintendo, they made some generation defining games as ultra. It was Chris and Tim. Their vision and leadership were vital.

I am not sure what version to get; 3DS or WiiU? Do you think the WiiUversion will support Gamepad-Only? If so, then the dual stick would give favor for the WiiU version...and I only play while on couch so as long as I don't need the TV the WiiU version looks good to me....but will it support gamepad only?

No, they already stated Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will not have Off-TV Play.

How much time will there be in between the titles 3 - 4 at least do you expect?

Based on Japanese Release dates, TriG was out for a while now and 4 is coming out some time this summer. So unless 3 Ultimate sells well, it may be about a year

Inspired by the minigames that are clear, simple and fun of Nintendoland, I wanted to pick up an old hobby and try to build something from the ground up with people of 1 community. Since I like theWiiUcom I am now trying to see if there is enough animo.
I have seen some beautifull art here on these fotums, great handdrawn art, some very good Photoshoppers, musicians and 3d modelers.
I myself am now active as an Digital Media Design professional, I teach video and film at a university but do 3d modeling and animation as well.
In the past I have done a BanjoKazooie fanfilm and some videgameconcepts, yet halfway the fangameproject (i did programmung myself up to that point) I really needed a skilled programmer or at least gamemaker-expert. Yet I didnt find him/her and so that was the end of it.
This time around I'll start with a list of 'jobs'. Once the list is compleet we can then as a team decide on theme, scale and deadline.

- programmer
- projectmanager
I'll do at least the project management.
