The controller turns on when you turn the system on. If you had the volume up on the gamepad up and it's  charged...try seeing if you can hear it. It can possibly help pinpoint it.

Obviously a lot of you didn't read the article or are just plain stupid. To the OP... seriously?  Why get people worked up? The article clearly states there is no Tale planned for next Gen systems. The only reason the Wii U was specifically named was because someone specifically asked about it.

Wooo...13 years to late if you ask me. Also, SE are you really surprised?  You put all your money into the mobile sector and pretty much released a lot of garbage since the merger. Does this really surprise anyone?

None of us are physics, so we can't tell. The system hasn't been out long at all. This thready has been made about 100 times since the launch of the system. I'm willing to bet post E3 and into this years holiday season peoples tune will change.

Hopefully this will very addressed in one of the two upcoming system updates.

I understand the feeling I loved Bioware and Mass Effect but because of EA I gave them all up, sometimes for good things to happen really bad things must first come to pass, I'm now sitting with my popcorn and waiting for companies like EA and Activision to dissapear off the face of the Earth, I know it sounds terrible but I'm willing to put money on the fact that the industry will be much better off without them.

Honestly the way things are moving towards , with Indie developers and digital formats....the days of needing publishers like EA are slowly going away.

While I understand your point I don't agree with it, quite frankly EA don't give a sh!t about you or me or anyone else for that matter, all they care about is the money in their pockets that money speaks volumes, if they don't get it they might realise what they are doing wrong, but if you keep buying their games all your doing is feeding the habit and keeping them cushy. Yes I understand they own very talented studios but just like the THQ auction I'm sure they would get picked up if EA went under, what you've got to understand is the big corporate CEO's at EA are business men NOT gamers and they don't understand, buy buying EA's games and feeding the habbit all people are doing is making the gaming industry worse because they will get the mindset that they can get away with it, which quite frankly they are doing.

I don't disagree with you, it's just like BioWare has been one of my favorite developers for years before EA picked them up. I'm not letting them ruin my enjoyment for BioWare games.

Amazon just outed the Directors Cut for Wii U....so much for the big PAX announcement....this is kind of ridiculous. I still didn't play it, and I want too..but if they want me to pay full price they better give me a good reason not to pick it up cheap on steam or another console.

Told you Wii U was next gen.

The only cons I have are getting drink/food in them lol. Otherwise I can't stand being clean shaven. 

I didn't feel that it was a great demo, but I love monster hunter. It's an HD update to a Wii game..hence the graphics. The game definitely doesn't feel slow and sluggish, or dated. Just because it's not something your into does not make it a bad game. I'm kind of baffled as to why this deserved a thread as it seems like your mind is already made up.
