Excellent! I just get more excited for the Wii U launch! I like how it makes a single player experience feel connected with other people without being intrusive and annoying.

If there does wind up being a lockout for the full season i dont think id complain, the Wings got themselves into quite a pickle, their defence is shot and their offense is lacking, they had like 23 million to address these needs in Free agency and they wasted that money on the likes of Mikael Samuelsson and missed out on Suter... and now there are rumors of trading for Jay Boumeester (no thanks) hes like 6.8 mil and had 5 goals and a minus 21 or something like that...
Yeah for the first time in a long time...I can see the wings missing the post season. In their defense though....Suter already had chosen, the Sabres put the exact same offer in for Parise and Suter (Parise is actually my cousin), but Zach wanted to go home and Suter decided he would go where he does. The problem with Detroit right now is their Veteran core is retiring and there's really no skilled youth to replace them. They have tons of cap space, but seem content sitting on it. I worry for you guys man. Plus I wanted to enjoy watching the Wings destroy the Maple Leafs on national TV at the Winter Classic.

Maybe the announcement in September is tied into a Nintendo Direct about launch date/pricing and such so they skipped August.

I'd love to see the gameboy style RPG, but in full HD 3D glory. Also have the ability to challenge people online and let players be gym leaders and have to defend their badge from other player's.

If Nintendo gets 3rd party support and i mean continued support....they will dominate. Why? Because 1st party is every bit important. If every system had the same games then it just becomes a brand war. And I'm Sorry, but Microsoft and Sony just don't have anywhere close to the 1st party support Nintendo does. Back in the day when it was Sega vs Nintendo, both systems had a healthy mix of 1St as well as 3rd. This is what sold the systems. Now a days It's 80% 3rd party on Microsoft and Sony machines. NINTENDO's 1st party IP'S are killer AND plentiful.

ROFL!!!! That made my morning...
But seriously...I think Nintendo will be fine with the launch of Wii U. They say they learned a lot from the 3DS launch and I believe them, they haven't been doing this dance so long because they aren't good at marketing good products.
