If I was in charge I would make Super Metroid HD and Super Mario Sunshine 2 as launch titles for the Super Nintendo 2 HD. All games will run at 120 FPS with 4K resolution.

I think hardcore is how a person plays a game. Let's use Mario Kart for example like I usually do.

Lots of people play Mario Kart casually and just play races to have a little fun by themselves or with friends in person or online. Casual is fine no one should knock it because it's just for fun and that's what games are for.

Now a hardcore Mario Kart player will learn all the tricks in gameplay mechanics, get 3 stars on all cups, beat all the staff ghosts and try and set good records. It is all about how the player plays the game that defines it in my eyes.

Both casual and hardcore are just fine and I do both for certain games. No one should be ridiculed for being a casual gamer or need to feel like the only way they will be considered a gamer is to be hardcore. We all do it to escape and have fun. It doesn't matter.

I don't even know what there is to really talk about with these spec comparison topics anymore. It's all the same thing. We know what kind of graphics are capable on the WiiU now, and they will probably get a bit better down the line. The PS4 and Xbone will likely have significantly better graphics but not to the point that they are blowing WiiU out of the water.

 

You can compare the numbers all you want, but honestly it doesn't really help. These systems are all pretty powerful and will have pretty close quality to each other, similar to how the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox was.

You are a lucky person. I wish I still had the Ambassador games on my 3DS, but when I traded my 3DS for my XL GS wouldn't let me do it. And I was too hype for the XL so I did it anyway. I have most of those games on GBA carts anyway, but it's nice to have them on the 3DS.

I hardly buy game guides anymore, but if I decide to buy one soon I will try Best Buy. Thanks for the tip.

Who buys game guides? They are expensive and redundant if you really wanna know secrets or something look it up on this magical thing called Google.

Many people still buy game guides. They aren't redundant, lots of people like them for the cover, artwork, and easy access for info right in front of them instead of going on the internet. That is like saying getting a collector's edition of a game is stupid because the extras are useless to the game. It's just what people like.

No man just keep the WiiU. When you sell it you and those games you really want start getting closer and closer to their release dates you will be itching to sell that Playstation for a WiiU. I don't sell my games anymore because when I was younger I used to sell a lot and noticed I always bought them again not too far in the future because I missed them. Just stick it out and wait for Smash and Mario Kart, you most likely will not be disappointed and it will feel great having your hands on the game after waiting so long. Plus remember we have Super Mario 3D World coming out in a few months and Pikmin out next month. Oh and Wind Waker. I am sure these games can hold you over and once you start getting new and great games it will cure that need to get another system quick. I know exactly how you feel I have been like that many times but after I just held onto everything I have it helps. I started making collections for my systems instead of selling to get new games I was dying for. And that is a real satisfying feeling. So just hold out dude, you won't regret it.

Pancham's evolution looks cool, he's definatly in my team now I really hope GameFreak havn't missed an opportunity to do a story on genetics, chasing money seems kinda shallow in my opinion the bar needs to be raised after Pokemon Black and White's storyline.

I know, they need to make this storyline really good. After B/W/B2/W2 I hope they can keep it up with making interesting stories.

Fall and Winter kind of blend to me.... I meant most anticipated 3ds game also... And I just felt like this game would have gotten a 9 or higher.

Okay I see. It was just high expectation that let you down. Well anyway the game is still great from what the reviews are saying.

Also 8 isn't really the middle. That is a very good score. I would be worried if it was a 6, but 8 is great.

Something they should have considered when discontinuing FE on Wii.  That game was going for $70 on ebay a couple years after release because it was gone from retail shelves.  The game could have sold for years but the plug was pulled far to quickly. 

 

Nintendo also needs to figure out a good way to market the Wii U to their 3DS userbase.  There is no reason that Nintendo shouldnt be able to strike a chord with the 30 million 3DS gamers out there.  So when a game like Fire Emblem does better than expected on the 3DS, then that should be an indication that the game might be something that could presuade 3DS gamers to buy a Wii U.  Its insane how well the 3DS is doing while the Wii U is barely staying afloat right now.  Why is nintendo unable to sell a Wii U to those who bought a 3DS?  The market should be theres for the taking. 

I think another good way to get the 3DS users to buy FEU is if they made it a sequel to Awakening. Everyone is already in love with the characters, so having most of them come back in a direct sequel would help them surpass their quota.

I don't know. I would honestly just keep talking to him and let him do it for himself. It seems like he wants to do it so just give him some time to do it on his own, it's better that way. 

 

And honestly he could be tricking you. Sure you may be close friends, but remember this is the internet, and we all know about the internet. Also he is 15, a time when many kids want attention and pity in any way shape or form they can get it, so I wouldn't doubt that at all. Also drinking a drink that was just sitting around? Really that one does seem kind of like a stretch.

 

I know you may be concerned for your friend, but I would stay away from doing things yourself and just let him take it into his own hands. Of course still talk to him and help him, but don't get insanely involved. No matter how bad the situation sounds, you just can't tell if it's real.

This kid needs to be convinced to call the police or whatever it is he hopefully chooses. That is if it is true. If so I would let him do it himself because having someone else call could be bad for him mentally too because he may not be ready to lose his parents although they don't sound like good people. I would just keep trying to get him to call them on his own.
