#230293 (UPDATED) Melee will be broadcasted (EVO 2K13)

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 09 July 2013 - 03:06 PM

This is a bit unnecessary. Things like this have been going on forever and only now they choose to prohibit it? It doesn't make sense. And it would help build some more hype for the new game.

#230111 Do you think people under rate Nintendo's exclusives?

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 09 July 2013 - 05:47 AM

I don't think they are underrated at all. Everyone who buys Nintendo systems are buying them for the obvious Nintendo exclusives. Who in their right mind would get them for third party support, that is just a plus on their already amazing exclusives.

I do think that other people crap on Nintendo games a lot though and I really hate it. I know a few people who think that since Nintendo is cartoony and not realistic makes it stupid and for little kids and doesn't have any depth whatsoever because of it.

I don't know why all this Nintendo hate has started up in the past generation.

#225389 Mario Kart 8

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 22 June 2013 - 05:16 PM

I fell in love when I just heard the words Mario Kart 8. Once I hear anything about Mario Kart I flip out. It is my favorite Nintendo series and is the main reason I buy Nintendo consoles. I love the antigravity aspect and the game's graphics look sooooo awesome. I saw detail in the pavement and that made me so happy. I can't wait to obsess over time trials again as I usually do with this series. Still now I daily play 7 trying to improve on time trials, and occasionally visit the older games.

#225088 Paula Deen fired by Food Network

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 21 June 2013 - 02:44 PM

Yeah, it's true it depends on how it was said. If she really was being racist then I understand being fired from Food Network. I just hope they don't get someone really corny to take her place. I pretty much only bother watching it nowadays for Good Eats.

Same here Good Eats has always been my favorite show, and anything Giada is in as well.

#224271 Xbox one will not require internet acces. and will alow used games.

Wow and after all that shizz they were talking about there already being 360 for those people who can't handle the requirements for the Xbone.

#224266 What Foods Do You Occaisonally Like To Binge On?

The one real food I love doing that with is tacos. And as of late I like to also wash them down with a few beers.

#223736 Pachter: If Wii U lacks 3rd-party support after the holidays, Stick A folk in it

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 18 June 2013 - 04:34 PM

If the Wii U is really gonna be ignored by third parties and Nintendo stills stays alive and sells plenty then they are a video game superpower. To be able to do that is amazing, and let's face it that is probably what is going to happen. This guy is really stupid. I don't know how people can still take him seriously. I make better predictions based on the facts than this guy.

#221359 Reggie Says “Worried About Used Games Sales? Make Better Games!”

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 13 June 2013 - 06:09 PM

I think it is true. I never trade in Nintendo games or any game really, but that's the collector in me. I do agree that Nintendo has the best replay value since even the Super Nintendo.

I also believe that it is because companies are popping out games in their series so quickly it's ridiculous. I'll use Assassin's Creed as an example. They have released five main series games since it's original in 2007, and plenty more side stories and the like. That is a lot. It has to do with anticipation. Releasing so many games in such a small amount of time barely leaves enough time to fully want the next game and be completely impacted by it. The more time in between a sequel the more the player will be moved by the game as opposed to a new game in the series coming out every year or so. And it will allow developers to put more content and write an even greater story. I hate how everything now is like let's pump out as many games as quickly as we can before people stop caring. To me the more frequently something comes out leads to it not being cared about much faster.

#217882 Has anyone dropped a class before?

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 09 June 2013 - 03:27 PM

Yeah, I dropped all my classes when I quit school in 10th grade. Lol

#217108 84 year old wins $590 million

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 07 June 2013 - 11:21 AM

Sad that the great ole US will probably take a huge chunk out of that nice prize she won.

Not like it matters. She'll probably only enjoy the money for like a day before she croaks.

#217104 E3 2013: Mad Catz Project M.O.J.O. Android Games Console Revealed

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 07 June 2013 - 11:07 AM

The controller doesn't look good, but it's Mad Catz, what do you expect? But the console itself seems to be in direct competition with OUYA, I doubt it will sell well though...

Lol, since when does anything from Mad Catz look good or last long? This console will break itself after a month. Hahahah!!

#215344 Is E3 dying?

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 03 June 2013 - 08:49 PM

E3 to me doesn't have the grandness it did back when last gen was being announced and all that before it. I still watch it but am not seriously crazy about it like I used to be. I remember when I was like 13 me and my friend would skip school together during the week of E3 so we could watch it on G4. Man those days were great.

#213355 Do you think Nintendo should make a change to their Wii U game prices?

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 30 May 2013 - 01:25 PM

I remember when games were like 70 and up around when SNES and N64 were out. Those were some serious prices. Kids had a hard time convincing their parents to get them games. I do feel some games could be 50 or even lower, but hey there is a standard now and that is great, 60 isn't too bad. I just hope they don't eventually rise to what they used to be again, although I have a feeling they will one day.

#208682 Have you ever taken an animal to an animal center?

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 19 May 2013 - 03:29 AM

I have never done it personally, but I have called the animal shelter many times to come pick up animals and take them away since I used to work at a pet shop. People would always ditch their animals and leave unexpectedly or bring in strays they found and leave them even after we told them we don't handle that type of thing and that they should do it themselves. Damn idiots can't do nothing for themselves and once they know they have to take time out of their lives they suddenly don't care about the animal that they saved or found or whatever the case may be,

#206807 What was your favorite DC cartoon?

Posted by Tsuchinoko on 13 May 2013 - 09:10 PM

Batman TAS is my favorite. As already stated it started it all and in my opinion it is possibly the best animated show ever made. It appealed to children and adults because of how mature it was. Music was fantastic and the art style was great especially considering that their color palette was extremely limited.

I still remember the first time I saw my favorite episode Feat of Clay 1 and 2. Me and my father were in awe of how great the lighting and combat was. And we just freaking loved how the animation was done for Clayface's tranformations. Damn that show did everything right.
