The best platinum reward ever for me was still the Club Nintendo Japan reward from 2007's Platinum program. I got me one of these babies on eBay for about a hundred bucks and it's beautiful (and still boxed, of course):

Well think of it like this. Say 20 people a day come in and get added to the waiting list and they only get 5-10 a week. The ratio of people added vs people getting one is so far apart that eventually there's gunna be like 1000 people waiting and it could take like two years to get yours. In that time there's a better chance of you finding one at Walmart or something.

Funny enough, I only have 30 coins too after getting my Gold Nunchuck. This will go along perfectly with my Gold Zelda Skyward Sword Wii Remote! I had less than the required amount of coins for the nunchuck, but due to the Wii U and NSMBU I was able to get the nunchuck ( and go Platinum for the third year in a row!). Bad news is I'm probably not going to have enough coins for the free games for a while ( I don't plan on buying many games besides 3DS and Wii U eShop games at this point until next year).

Jeeeeez I still need 90 to get to Gold. If I can reach Platinum it will be my third year in a row too

But by quick comparison, you can use the full site through the internet browser, where you can view and leave comments, and watch the video on either the TV or Gamepad.
