When the nes came out, all we cared about was it was 8 bit and played good fun games, then snes came out all we cared about was 16 bit and played good fun games, n64 came out and was 64 bit and played good fun games, gamecube came out and we just cared that it was 128 bit, WE JUST PLAYED AND HAD FUN, which is what consoles are for, We choose Nintendo for Mario, Metroid and Zelda and some other games specific to the system, like always, so those who are,  lets say obsessed with hardware, get over it and just play and have fun!

 

Internet is good but its spoilt somethings like song sales and console wars, I remember snes, and megadrive, you chose which game you wanted to play the most, sonic or Mario, simple!

Terribly ugly looking Pokemon that look extremely lazily done and limited character customization.

Gen 6 is looking like a spectacular improvement!!!!

Not to mention that Nintendo consoles are not exactly comparable to other consoles. They're always more about family-friendly games. Which I do kinda prefer, I don't believe in the sonysoft's mantra of "more realistic gore is better"

I Think everyone is now aware that Wii u  is no kind of beast compared to the next Xbox or playstation offerings  but you have to come in to the forums acting a fool slapping anyone down who has an opinion on Wii u being just slightly more powerful than the ps360.... Article says the 3ds has also been a disappointment outside of Japan. Really? I think it has done very well, especially the past year. Biased media again, no story on Sony and it's troubles with the Vita.

I've been nintendo only, and well I guess I did try to buy into a ps2 year back or so. It just gathers dust. Nintendo all the way!

I am doing this with Wii U, 3ds, and PC. It isn't fanboyism, but rather, time constraints. I would love you have everything, but I cannot justify the expense unless it will occupy hours of my time. Honestly, I cannot justify the expense of PC upgrades if the game is on Wii U. 

 

Honestly, a game like Ninja Rabbit is giving me more enjoyment than online shooters ever have. I guess I am not hardcore enough for a second console anyway, LOL. 

 

 

This is a stupid topic, why do you buy any console? for the games... Simple as that. If you don't want a WIi U then don't get it.
