I find myself being a bit of a Billy no mates, how do I go about adding friends? I have sent some friend requests, but some friend request boxes are greyed out, you cannot action them. I came across some other person looking for online friends, when I went to request friend, it was greyed out. Where am I going wrong please?

Newbie here, so please forgive if I am asking a silly question,
I have a PRemium pack and I cannot seem to get the sensor bar to work. Is it straightforward working or not? I have pointed directly in front, 2" and walked backwards 10 feet and still nothing happens? Any tips?
