Snyder had a hard enough time trying to fill out superman as a character, throwing batman into the mix is insanity. He just doesn't have the chops to make this work. Watchmen and Dawn of Dead were ok but everything else he's produced has been garbage. Sucker Punch is one of the worst films i have ever seen.

Even with the right people behind this project I still have my doubts about how good it will be. The concept is pretty dumb and having two massive icons in the one story means it will be a struggle to develop both as characters (plus introduce a completely new batman). Unfortunately what works in comics doesnt always work in films but obviously warner bros just sees it as "icon + icon = more cash".

It's not all religions in a nutshell. I am a christian and i don't act like this at all. I respect other peoples choices and beliefs.

i admit, I sounded judgemental in my last post and I realize not every religious person acts like the individual in the video, but tragically I knew way too many people in my lifetime who acts like the person in the video so admittedly my views on religion isn't going to be the kindest.  

 

But my intent wasn't to offend anyone who follows a certain creed.

that video is basically all religions in a nutshell. Still can't fathom why people are still like this in modern times.

That was difficult to watch.

Just to clear up confusion, the mad cat shooter wasnt a police officer, he was a humane officer.

I dont know about Ohio, but in the states ive been humane officers and police officers are seperate things. Ones a police officer, and the other is animal control. Different divisions.

Specifically investigating/preventing cases of animal cruelty.... Not causing them.

So its not some beat cop who pulled up in between giving speeding tickets and domestic disputes to blow some kittens away.

The guys job was to humanely control animals.... Which I believe involves having the common sense to not euthanize a litter of kittens brains out in the backyard of a watching family, no matter how full the shelters were.

He might have had his butt and job publically saved for his stupid decision. But trust me. Its not without consequence.

This guy is one minor slip up away from getting his keister booted and is probably cleaning the kennels and pens with his toothbrush. Hes the Farva of the humane officers now.

But yeah, pretty sure hes not a cop, lets direct the animosity in the appropriate direction.

He might have made mistakes but he`s strategy, on the long run, is good.

To me he`s biggest mistake was letting the same mistakes that plagued the 3DS launch, repeat themselves with Wii U. But at least, one of them is getting corrected: the lack of games due to lack of resources is being corrected with the recente and future increase of staff.

I think the best analogy is that consoles are film series that some may like and some may not. My choices (and reasons) are here. What are your choices?

 

Nintendo: Toy Story Trilogy

 

Why?:

 

- Designed for and enjoyed by all ages 

- Multi-layered with deep writing for the adults, bright colours for the kids, and an all around fun experience for all

- Initiative for their times

- Visually looks great for the art style

- No matter how much you try and deny that Toy Story is cool, in then end Toy Story Rocks

 

Sony: Die Hard Anthology

 

- Started off with a solid knowledge of the art

- Defined the genre and the art in some ways

- Started off Awesome as F**k

- As technology got better, the films started to loose what was important about the original as they started competing with more flashy and spectacular competition.

- Core surface elements remain the same throughout (John McLaine killing bad guys) mean that fans of the original will keep on going to see sequels. 

 

Microsoft: Michael Bay's Transformers films

 

- A mere shell of what the art was about in the first place

- Designed to be flashy and distracting, uses the technology, explosions, boobies and homeerotic teststorone fueled imargy to attract its audiance

- Watched mainly by adolescents who think explosions and boobs are what make film great, and watched by fans of the previous generation of Transformers fans who shed a tear at the same time as reassuring themselves that what Michael Bay has done to the series is "fine"

- Designed totally and utterly to get the customer to pay as much money as possible for something of little substance

- With each time the technology gets better the further away it comes from the roots of it being classed as an actually film.

As you can see each console is a film series that some people prefer over others and could be seen as equal to picking a film you want to watch at night

As disappointed as I was by watching the Direct on my iPhone at work, when I came home my kids(4,6) were actually watching the demo's via the eshop on Wiiu.... And they were absolutely thrilled.

'Dad, we just saw a game where we can battle with Mario and Donkey Kong' and 'also, a Mario Kart, but we don't need that because we have that Sonic whats it called racing game', where my son replied 'duh, but that one doesn't have MARIO'. 'But dad, please come watch, we saw a Mario game like on mom's 3ds and it's that same game but we can play together'. 'Yeah, and a game with adorable animals which you can take care of and there is a boy and girl version'.....(pokemon x/y).

.....well, at least they liked it and it seems that I know where my gaming budget will be spend on. Only thing I love more than gaming, is watching them play, learn and cooperate. Well Nintendo, good job. Maybe I was looking at this from a wrong point of view, and is it not you who went wrong, but did I outgrow you. At least the kids will have a safe gaming invironment to start learning the how games, internet and communication works.
