•Both are big, hulking, black machines (at least bigger than their competition)
•Both by companies that had successful machines this/last gen
•Both predecessor consoles have less-than-stellar add-ons
•Both are $100 more than their main competitor
•Both have fumbled pre-release announcements and decisions
•Both have their main competitors destined for greatness (or at least massive popularity)
Segata Sanshiro won't be here to save you, Xbone.

Love it or Hate it, you should be thankful it is coming to Wii U.
I agree. I am actually giving BLOPS 2 a go right now. The story in the first one was actually good if you enjoy reading about that time period. My favorite part is how the objectives display on the gamepad. Something so simple makes the game much better than on other versions (always pausing and trying to remember what exactly the point of what we are doing is more game breaking than waiting for a cease fire and glancing down). I know it is a multiplayer dominated game, but they seem to have really worked on the singleplayer in this one.
Think of it this way everyone, every COD: G purchase is a stab at EA, as they could have sold you BF 4.

There`s still a long way to go.
Nintendo promised a ND specially for this game. So it`s coming soon.
A Nintendo Direct will never be the equivalent of an advertisement.
Nintendo Directs are for people who already know what the product is, and just want to learn more about it, so I'm not going to be buying that argument.

when your post was "Tha" I reported it. So if a mod sees it he should know that I reported before it was edited. That's the problem with media outlets these days. To much BIAS and not enough reporting of facts and qualified sources to back up the stories.
This isn't just happening with Nintendo, but many companies... and it spreads far outside just the gaming industry.

It takes a lot to admit Sony won the GC generation (in terms of sales, don't hit me).

During Nintendo’s latest investor’s meeting, president Satoru Iwata fielded a question regarding the lack of new innovation with new consoles. The Q&A is only available in Japanese currently, but a summary of Iwata’s response has been translated.
Most of what Iwata said actually pertained to new titles for Wii U. Iwata said that additional, unannounced titles for the console are planned by 2014.
Why weren’t these games mentioned during Nintendo’s E3 2013 Nintendo Direct? First, the company felt that there was more information than could be shared during E3. And generally speaking, Nintendo likes keeping a minimal gap between announcements and the release of new games to keep consumers excited and prevent competitors from copying ideas.
“New consoles have always produced better graphics, but the work required may not be related to customer satisfaction. There are more unannounced Wii U titles coming by 2014. There was more info than could be released at E3. Wanted to ease owners’ fears. Don’t want to leave a long gap between announcement/release of new game types that would lessen the impact or allow competitors to copy.”

The Division could still do a Watch_Dogs and be announced for Wii U down the road, then again Ubi are probably gonna wait to see how well Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag do on Wii U before they make any desisions.
