Posted by NintendoReport on 23 June 2015 - 09:43 AM

I love platform games and Yoshi's Wooly World is right up my street. I'm looking forward to getting mine this Thursday.

Lucky!

We have to wait until October in NA. So, this will tide me over.....

#315099 Where do we go from here?

I only said to jump ship if we couldnt aquire the rights needed to fix everything up (on a side note, i cant use the forums on chrome anymore...so i should talk to an admin about that)

I use chrome. What does it do on your end?

#315088 B games. How wonderful they are.

Posted by NintendoReport on 20 June 2015 - 02:48 PM

In my opinion the dynasty warriors games fit here well. Not known for anything graphically stunning but gameplay is pretty much solid and consistent across the board.

If you only got a 3ds you don't have to wait until hyrule drops to play a warriors game on a hand held.

#315064 Skylanders SuperCharged Bowser/Donkey Kong Concept Art

Posted by NintendoReport on 19 June 2015 - 06:13 PM

I think it's pretty great that Nintendo allowed Activision to use their property to boost the 3DS and Wii U sales. I just wish they had done this earlier because I'm worried that Skylanders might fall out of popularity real soon. I hope Nintendo works with Disney next for Disney Infinite. Imagine having Mario crossing with not just Disney characters but also Marvel and Star Wars.

All skylanders figures are compatible with new game which helps keep appeal.
Looks like i'll be getting the stater packs as the nintendo figures cannot be purchased separately

Lots of Indies and Japan stuff, but Vita had a fair release year last year.

I'll probably double dip with Mighty No. 9.

#314928 Looks like fans weren't the only ones angry at the Digital Event

Posted by NintendoReport on 18 June 2015 - 12:18 PM

I couldn't disagree more. I get that you and most are ticked at the Digital Event and I'm certainly not blind to how underwhelming it was but seriously now, think about that for a minute. Nintendo marches to the beat of a different drum which yes, can be frustrating sometimes but they don't pump out yearly crap like most publishers and always have fair DLC offers; two things that are the hallmark of cash-ins in the gaming industry and where everyone else screws us to death now. Every first party game is polished and perfectly crafted and most of the time they add a lot of care to 3rd party titles as well.

The Digital Event was a let down, we get it. But with respect that statement couldn't be anymore false.

Just looking at your signature makes me happy again... even after being disappointed with the digital direct and some of the announcements.  Nintendo had the opportunity to hit the ball out of the park yet again but failed to do so.... but, there will be another time and place for which they can improve and push forward.

Serves them right.  no passion for games anymore.
Long live Sony!

Be careful which end you talk out of. There are a lot of "games" that are flowing with passion you just choose to dismiss them
