I'd say it's impressive since it got those numbers without being a sequel. Doubt the CoD people would be touting 4 million in a week for a Cod game.

Do people actually read/watch shonen stuff for the plot? Finding a good one by those standards sounds rather difficult. I like Naruto, but that's really only for the fight scenes. Most of the plot can walk off a cliff, and I wouldn't notice. Really, the only member of team 7 I like as a character is Kakashi. Naruto is standard shonen lead character, Sasuke required a quadruple old man monologue to realize he was being stupid, and Sakura is Sakura.

What % of the sales were Wii U?
Oh yeah none because Ubi bucked us over.
Meanwhile, at Ubisoft

The game will then sell worse because wii u owners won't buy a game for their system unless its the same as the other versions, including release date. Ubisoft will see the poor sales, and conclude that the reason is that nintendo fans just don't like non-nintendo games, regardless of whatever the real reason is. Then, just like every other 3rd party dev, they will drop support for nintendo consoles, and wii u owners will complain about the lack of third party support. The cycle continues!

its still $79.99 on the eshop, but i am in australia, and we often pay more for games.
Question: Is that in australian dollars? Also, is that the average price for new games there? I ask because I recently learned that national minimum wage in australia is a little more than double the national minimum wage in the US, when both are converted to the same currency. I know its not the topic of this thread but its just something interesting I'd like to get the full story on.

To all the people saying or implying that we should burn Ubisoft at the stake, I'd like to ask:
Isn't Ubisoft the only 3rd party western developer that's giving a crap at all for Nintendo fans? Is there a better example of a western, 3rd party developer that they should aspire to?
Cause honestly, they've supported Nintendo a LOT better than any other western developer. Perfect? No. But at least they're still giving us games, which is a lot more than I can say of other studios. Just saying that maybe we shouldn't crap on the only dev that still gives half a crap about us.
And to those saying, "I'm just gonna buy Watch Dogs on another console when it comes out and forget the Wii U version" would it kill you to wait for a wii u version? Is the game gonna be ruined if you don't get it when its originally released? If you want to support the Wii U, buy the game for wii u. If not, don't complain when Ubisoft drops us completely like almost every other dev already has.

As of right now I'm planning to buy this for wii u, assuming the wii u version doesn't get cancelled. If we don't buy even the decent 3rd party multiplats, devs will probably just drop the console altogether. If the wii u version gets cancelled, then I won't buy the game at all.

I don't see why Iwata needs to resign, I just think Nintendo needs to look around at the market and what others are doing. Oh, and obviously they should have advertised more in their one year lead.

Well, it clearly shows it gets absolutely devastated by pc.
But again, this is only for allegrorithics subject designer, which is a procedural texturer. The 1 CPU of whatever was tested in that horribly vague graph (1 core i hope) Shows that xbone/ps4's netbook cpu can procedurally generate 12-14Mb of textures.
Its not showing anything else (its barely showing that much) but ps4 can get 2 whopping megabytes more than xbone in procedural textures.
I guess when I asked for the significance, I meant along the lines of, "Is the average gamer going to see a noticeable difference?" Is this really anything to get worked up about or make a console choice on. I understand what it means behind the scenes essentially, I just don't think it changes much outside that.

When I first saw them talking about all the graphics and details added to the game by the extra hardware, I thought, "But does that actually make the game better?" Apparently not.

This two parter was just amazing. 10/10. I'm gonna stay up another couple hours til it gets posted on nick.com and watch it again. Easily in the top 5 episodes/specials in the entire avatar series.
