One publisher not publishing games for a console is not anything to worry about.

In this case, it is. Sports titles have always been casual titles that people buy every year and buy consoles just for them. Not to Forget that those titles atract millions of gamers and seeing the rise in popularity of the BF series, that is a serious blow to Wii U and 3DS too.

If you are one gamer who likes all or the majority os sports titles and enjoy shooters online, Wii U is no longer the platform for you. Why buy a Wii U when you can either buy a PS4 or X720 and get all those games without worries?

Unfortunately, EA has ignored Nintendo with the rise of Sony. Even Sega`s Dreamcast was ignored, despite being a hardcore console.

But this time, next year, EA is going to regret that decision. Wii U might not become the hardcore console of choice but i am positive that it will make strides to do what Wii and GC didn`t. And then... EA has to answer to investors.

Nintendo does need some big news to surprise people. Sony and MS fans need to see Wii U as a desirable console - even if it doesn`t have all EA 3rd party games.

That the only bloody game coming out this month and even that is multiplat. I might even get it on 360 instead as it will probably look better than the Wii-U version. I will wait and see on reviews 1st of course.

 

But seriously we should of had pikmin 3 and Rayman legends by now 

Yeah, months of a head start wasted by no games and bad marketing!

Seriously, they sell better because thse franchises have been around for decades and decades, always evolving and of high quality gameplay and fun. Every little detail about them is just pure fun.

We all know that the usual E3 Nintendo conference has been cancelled and that, in return, we will get a ND in it`s place.

For me, that`s a loss.

As i write i`m watching last year`s presentation and already we are missing funny things like Miyamoto calling Bill Trinnen and make him walk to him in a funny way. Or having Miyamoto faking throwing a Pikmin to the crowd! 

As you see, this kind of stuff will never happen at a ND.

So how can ND be a good compensation?

I got a few ideas:

Why not put Reggie, Shibata and Iwata in a room and make them do the presentation?

Why not use some Nintendo character animations to embelish the presentation? It´s not a live presentation, so you can do whatever you want.

How would you like this E3 ND to go? be creative!

i think most of the N64 and later games are still under copyright and/or franchises owned by other companies, that sayed no. 007 goldeneye and DK 64 dont show up because rare made them and rare was bought my microsoft, and now rare mostly makes crappy kenect games. dont know y DK64 isnt on because its a ninty owned franchise but rare is apparently enough.  

 

i hope they bring more support for later platforms though, even though a emulater should be capable of copy and pasting the game on.

I understand not getting those games, as Rare is owned by MS.

But there are so many other games that could appear on VC... and if they are not there, it`s hard to imagine that companies that made N64 games and aren`t willing to put them there are going to greenlight GC and GBA games.

I too expect GC games to arrive.

My biggest concern is what games will arrive. Somehow there`s a ton of NES, SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis games, but N64 games are in a very small number and basically Nintendo developed or published titles.

Some of N64`s biggest games aren`t there and my fear is that it will remain that way. That and that the same will happen to both GBA and GC. Which would be a shame!

I have recorded 5 seasons on TV and i`m watching it these days from the start. To be honest, way better than the last seasons of The Simpsons.

But like everything, it also has na end. Maybe in the future we will see more movies.

Jesus. It's like no one has any patience anymore. This is how it ALWAYS is when you're a first adopter. Anyone whining should've waited until more games released before they caved in and purchased the console early. I can't wait until these complaints are gone by the end of the year. It's sickening. If after a year things don't change, then feel free to say the Wii U is doomed. (Just like the Vita is right now.)

And to that i`ll add no memory either.

What launch went perfectly with a steady release of games? It`s true that Wii U is probably beating some kind of record but the others weren`t all that better either.

By the looks of it, it seems that Nintendo is preparing something for after E3.

All it`s biggest titles are coming after E3. So my, guess is that soon enough this half year will be a bad memory by year end.

Australian prices are notoriously higher than anywhere else.

You can't just convert to euro and that'll be the price over in Europe.

PS3 games costs about $120 new over there, yet Euro games don't cost €95.

 

I'm think €499 is a pretty decent guess.

I understand.
But i wasn`t implying that the pricing will be exactly that.
Someone said here that the PS3 price at launch was 1000 Aus$, so my guess is that from 600€ it will come down aswell to about 450/500 - seeing as even the australian price came down for PS4.

That was really funny to read, but that kind of approach cannot be serious. Not only is that a serious issue, the way he handled it was really bad for MS`s image.

Even if always on online isn`t true, MS is getting a lot of bad rap and that`s bad for business.
