Hey, guys. I plan on buying a new wireless router and am deciding between a single or dual band one.

 

My question is, can the Wii U connect to a 5 ghz band wireless network? Can anyone confirm this?  I have been searching through google for answers but haven't quite found any.

Hey, y'all! Finally registered. I've been lurking these forums for about a month now. Hope to make lots of new friends here.

 

Games I own are Nintendoland (from Wii U Deluxe bundle) and NSMBU. Currently, waiting for the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. :D
