I got a few things recently
Because the picture is massive
I got a new mouse, new fans for my pc (i only wanted the green leds, I didnt need them) 2 new desks, a chair (as you can see, I like green) and 4 amiibos...Ignore the mm 3ds, thats just there because I pulled it out of my pocket when I sat down

So 2 things before I start this off, I get to rewrite this because the forums hate me and decided to crap out when I hit preview so I lost everything excluding the title. The other one being that the search function on the site doesnt work (at least for me) so if this a dup then ctrl F has failed me so I apologize ahead of time.
So that aside lets talk about what you want in the NX and what you think will make it successful. At first I thought the NX would be the next handheld being how the 3ds is older than the Wii u, but after the start of the digital event for e3, and what recent interviews have suggested (most notably the one about Metroid Prime 4) its a safe bet that its a home console, or the 15 year old rumor of it being the "fusion" (seriously, its old, no idea why people keep thinking the fusion is a new rumor, tis far from it)
So there are a few things that I think will help nintendo make a 180 and bring back the core audience being how they lost casuals for the most part.
I think that covers my main concerns, there is more I could talk about I'm sure, I didnt even touch on the fusion idea at all but what ever. So what do you guys think? do you agree? Disagree? Have no idea what I'm even trying to say since my grammar is atrocious? Let me know, I'd love to know what you guys think/want in the next console.
edit: I should note, some of you may not care about some of this stuff I know, but this is to bring over new people, you may not care about 3rd party games, but others do, you may want the hardware to be different and not just another box, but look at it from a developers perspective, not your own.

They better make a summer direct that is zelda U specific in 30 or so minutes in length 
If not then we might have to wait until the VGA awards again to see anything...
i really dont want to sit through another vga rewards just to see zelda, that was painful to watch last year, it will be painful to watch this year

wii u is like the gamecube, everyone hates it now and in 2 generations it will be viewed as the best thing since sliced bread since people will see it for all of its great games instead of its hardware and lack of 3rd party
(in other words, you can buy ~80% of the first party games with out regrets)

well, if someone else owns the site and gets the required perms to run it (even just basic ones for editing sub forms or something) would you have any idea how to bring traffic in? because thats the main issue is that there isnt anyone left, im just here because i made na account years ago and check back like once a week. Only been active recently due to e3 and there is actually stuff to talk about

secretly, they are working on prime 4 for the wii u and it will be released before 2016 ends for metroid's 30th anniversary.....please ;-;
remember gameplay first, story second, its how it normally works at nintendo

I'll still pick up federation force if it ties into the story I guess

them to lie to all of us and show off zelda anyways
metroid on wii u (i really dont want it on 3ds)

I'd buy it right away, only problem is that each 3D mario game has game mechanics that all work differently, for example, you can run faster in 3D world than you can in other 3D mario games, and there's fludd, and the spin from SMG... all the achrobatics, hazards, gravity, etc... so much stuff that is different in each game
plus you'd then have to factor in lag. Something you (shouldnt) have to worry about on the wii u with a 2d mario. But with 3d and you give 100% control to the player you'll have to add some limiters so the player doesnt over load the system. This can easily be done by assigning a value to what ever you're trying to place and show a max for what can be rendered ect ect, but the point of this 2d version is to throw all limits out the window so I think a 3d one would be too limiting for what nintendo would want in terms of a smooth frame rate...or I could be wrong and all that gets thrown out the window who knows.

im still curious on to why everyone thinks the nx will be the next console. It is clearly a handheld, especially sicne the 3ds is "far" older than the wii u (about 6-7 years old by the time we get the nx wii u being maybe 5)

Well, I already know what I got for x-mas mainly because I didnt ask for much and my family is easy manipulate or really bad with words so it just comes out (mainly the last one)

Time for people to relive a classic.
Fun fact. I think this whole game was 2D but used certain means of giving a 3D look. I know how this works, but it's really really hard to explain.
the gba actually supports 3d to a certain degree, it used the same (or very similar) technology the snes did but the chips were built into the gba instead of the cart. I think its called mode 7 or something to give it that look?
