Well it's not wanting "more", it's wanting the same amount of gaming for my $ as last time. I personally am getting frustrated with Nintendo continuing to make its games shorter and shorter. DKC Returns was 8 worlds, with DKCTF we only got 6 yet were still charged $50.
That's the thing, and the guy above me said it: they were fair enough to drop it $10. Nintendo really could have just left the price as is, but being the least greedy of basically the entire gaming industry, they went ahead and just lowered the price knowing they were delivering a little less content than DKCR. Then again, DKC:TF really was enjoyable, and I would bet a far greater majority would agree that it was $50 well spent, lol...
And then AGAIN, for all we know, a threequel could be in the works!

...and you feel a great emptiness deep inside and you can tell that something is missing and you know that you'll never be truly happy until it's there?
Well, worry no more, because I'm here to fill that emptiness!
Hello good people of Earth, and other such nations (sorry, been watching too much Futurama) FlamingFury here broadcasting live from Australia, except, you know, with out the broadcasting and the live parts. Don't worry though, I'm not dead.
I'm currently unemployed (occupational hazard of being a high-school student), but I'm looking to rectify that in the near future. As all the smart people can already tell, I'm still in school which means I didn't grow up with Mario or Zelda ever being 'the most popular title' ala Ocarina of Time and Super Mario Bros., I've never played a SNES or a Gamecube or a Virtual Boy (thank God), but I've given every other console Nintendo's had a spin.
I've owned my Wii U since launch and have been a stalwart supporter of Nintendo ever since they won me over from Sony, with the greatness that was Mario Galaxy. Rather recently, (2011) I discovered true gaming when I played, and fell in love with, the Legend of Zelda.
Anyway, this website seems nice, (really digging the aesthetics), and I can't wait to contribute to this community.

Hey, you might have seen me on here before. With summer vacation around the corner I always try to do some new things, this year I was thinking about writing a couple of game reviews and maybe continue it when school starts again. So I got a couple of questions I wanted to ask you guys, (if mods feel this is in the wrong section they are free to move it).
First up I was wondering if there are any games you want reviews on, I've got one almost finished for Pikmin 3 (I know it's overdone but it's my favorite game) and writing one for Sonic Lost World next. I'll put the games I got down below so you can have a look. Secondly I was hoping that I could get your feedback on them, it's not something I'll do as a job but I like to take the opportunity to grow. I was thinking of posting these reviews every other week, so I could have a chance to get back into or finish the game. If I got a bit of an planning I'll share it somewhere on here.
I hope I can pull this off, thanks in advance
The games I have:

Given how fast this title has sold, they would be foolish not to add some tracks. I'd be happy with 6 retro and two new bonus tracks. I'd also pay for new cars and characters.
Nintendo must realize this is a gold mine.
I miss (just to name a few off the top of my head)...
Coconut Mall
Maple Treeway
Bowser Castle (N64)
Daisy Cruise Ship
Some one mentioned Block Fort earlier, I can't imagine the chaos of an extended 12 player Block Fort (but would want to be able to set it to just 4 players if I choose).
I'd want to see Frog (Suit) Mario, Pauline and Candy Kong as DLC characters (again just off the top of my head).

Despite my personal pick being Pikmin 3...
I will have to go with Wonderful 101 due to its incredibly underappreciated and criminally low sales... It did poorly, but didn't deserve to.

Thanks!
The baby characters don't bother me, they're mostly for the kids to play as when they play with their parents. Let bygones be bygones I always say!
I wouldn't mind one or two, but 4 seems excessive. There's so many other characters from the Mario universe I would have rather seen instead - goomba, magikoopa, hammer brothers, King Boo, Diddy Kong, ect.

Wonder what the Mario Kart 8 attach rate is for Wii U. 95% ? You'd be silly to own a Wii U and not have this title... in fact you should be committed to a mental institution.

No company can afford a lose, least of all Sony and Nintendo, the former due to their financial woes and the latter due to their increasing irrelevancy in a market they once dominated.
Also why would anyone trade in a system that has plenty of good games for a system which has no must have games? The Wii U isn't worth the investment and a Wii trade in programme won't change that.
If the Wii U had some compelling games I'd agree, but no one with an ounce of intelligent would trade their Wii in for a Wii U.
They buy them for the present and the future. Both the Xbox One and PS4 will have a vast library of games while the Wii U is plagued by game droughts.
Out of all the consoles the one that offers the least value for money is the Wii U.

Psh there are no droughts for me, I don't play games straight, and I always switch up. From what I have I could play AC4, AC3 (If I was really bored), NFS: MWU, Lego City U, 3D World, NSMBU, Zombi U, and others, then I could also buy Donkey Kong (want so bad), and perhaps a eshop thing, then I also have wii games, and 3ds that I never play. Yeah these 'droughts' don't bother me. I'd rather not getting a new big game every month.
