#279403 EA kicks Nintendo while they are down

Posted by nbond3040 on 01 April 2014 - 12:46 PM

Why is everyone so upset about this I mean it wasn't funny just because it was just a terribly presented joke (keyword JOKE) The Wii U is not a person it does not have feelings these tweets have no effect on the WiiU. Do you think this hurts Iwata's/ Nintendo's feelings because no, no it doesn't  here is Iwata right now http://gifrific.com/...ars-with-money/    this isn't rude the Wii U is a piece of plastic not a person

#278938 Nintendo talks about Animal Crossing on consoles

Posted by nbond3040 on 28 March 2014 - 07:13 PM

they should add guns and a first person perspective... and blood. That would be a real haha GAME CHANGER haha get it because it changes the game HAHAHA but seriously just make it an MMO that would be really cool IMO

#274773 Valve gives developers access to set game discounts

Posted by nbond3040 on 26 February 2014 - 03:57 PM

Have been enjoying using Steam on my new gaming PC and this sounds like more good things to come. More discounts, more updates and more devs will be attracted to Steam.

There is a resemblance to Miiverse I think with Steam. It's free to use, each game has their own forums and quite a few have achievements if your into that sort of thing. With the Steam machines coming out the dev control linked below is surely a sign of more improvements coming to Steam?

Steam>Miiverse

at least this  time he didn't shoot someone when he "feared for his life"

#272758 Would you be in favor of a "Star Club" payed membership?

Posted by nbond3040 on 15 February 2014 - 10:47 PM

nope these should be standard features, but they're not that is why I am transitioning to PC and Nintendo console gaming only. So I get great Nintendo games, 3rd party support, and the best online infrastructure.

#272475 Bayonetta 2

Posted by nbond3040 on 14 February 2014 - 04:37 PM

yeah I give Bayonetta an 8.5/10 I prefer long hair that's the only problem

totally do-able

and just to clarity I'm just kidding if you think I really have a thing for video game characters, I only have a thing for anime characters don't worry

#272232 Nintendo Direct Discussion Thread

Posted by nbond3040 on 13 February 2014 - 03:57 PM

Weren't you guys getting excited based off the fact Smash/ X/ Bayo 2 would get shown? Now people are moving the goal post and saying the Direct sucked because they didn't show Yarn Yoshi.

Perhaps people have gotten so spoiled with these Direct presentations, Nintendo keeps raising the bar each one and they're expecting more?

We still don't have a release date and I was excited for the X and Mario kart trailers but it sucks that I had to trudge my way through 30 minutes of 3ds games that don't excite me

#272171 Nintendo Direct Discussion Thread

Posted by nbond3040 on 13 February 2014 - 02:47 PM

well that was just so bland the first 30 minutes of it were so boring to watch the only thing that made this direct interesting was the X gameplay

for people who had stream problems watch it on youtube next time it's much smoother than Ustream

#271183 Sony 1.1 BILLION dollar loss

Posted by nbond3040 on 08 February 2014 - 03:54 PM

iMac vs Laptop ... Not a fair way to compare prices. Of course, you hating Apple you would do that.

Apple's lowest MacBook Air comes with Intel i5 and 128GB of Solid State HD. Go to Dell, and a similar option is 1249.99 (http://www.dell.com/...123098073120601) which has the same processor same ram same HD. Just different MORE EXPENSIVE price.

Plus, the MacBook Air has one the best battery life. And with the magnetic charge port you'll never worry about that port breaking. I don't know if the Dell has a backlit keyboard, but every Apple MacBook does. It's always the small things that make Apple the better choice. And in this case, it's also the cheaper option.

I don't hate apple I have an Iphone and I've used a mac book pro I loved it for casual use like internet and pron hehe. but for gaming there is just way cheaper with better spec'd options for $1149 here ( http://us.ncix.com/p...SI&promoid=1208 )

is a laptop with a better cpu a better gpu plus Windows which for gaming crushes especially because Mac OS is a resource hog (but so is Windows compared to Linux but Linux has no games so it doesn't matter) and if we go to Desktops custom build is all I have to say for way less I could build a computer that is way better than the iMac

#271159 Sony 1.1 BILLION dollar loss

I think macs are great for old people. No seriously. I convinced my mom who is now 74 in 2010 to buy a Macbook for a computer because of the smaller threat of a virus. The little white laptop is still kicking tho did have to replace the HDD and power cord last 3 years. Still it's worked out good for her as so many people esp at her age have a tenancy to click things in emails and somehow get bad crap. To me it's easy NOT to get one on Windows but old people with computers are like kids wither everything else. They find a way to break it even if that thing could survive a bomb.

valid point, but for the purposes of gaming Mac's are terrible in comparison

Apple makes great hardware. I've loved my iMac, and would love to have a Macbook Air. I love how people have this hatred against Apple, saying their products are "over rated" and "over priced", but then compare other ultra books with MacBook Air and find out PC manufactures charge more for the same thing. Some Apple products are really expensive - but it's generally their professorial hardware, like the Mac Pro.

And Apple is a very innovative company. They popularized the idea of the mouse. They made the idea of a smartphone the next big thing. Challenged the PC industry with the iPad. And lets not even talk about the iPod, iTunes and the App Store.

You are right that Nintendo being in trouble is a GOOD thing. Someone who challenges them on their level means they will work HARDER and be BETTER. So yes, Nintendo being in real trouble is a GOOD thing.

Apple's products are very overrated and overpriced the cheapest iMac is $1299 and I could find better specs on a laptop for cheaper too there is literally no point to buy it unless you really really really like the Mac OS
