I would definitely concur with the lackluster of 3rd party support.  However, the new mario kart is going to be killer.  The graphics are insane.  I like the fact that you can add a hard drive to the system..  I wish that we had more sports games.  I am a dedicated Nintendo fan since 1985 and I am really struggling if I should buy another system for sports games or should I hold out and maybe nintendo will get good sports games.  Over all the system is a great system.  I think it will get better this year with some great titles coming in 2014.

If you actually bought the good games for the system, you'd realize how much bullcrap there is in the whole "wii u has no gaem" brainwashed ideology.

Hyrule warrior is a japanese title all the way. They take care of their own but forget the west. I guess Bayo2 is suppose to fill that void but when is the last time we heard anything on that? That secretive stuff has to stop. We need more than Nintendo direct for information on new games.

Got news for you, Bayo 2 is also japanese, and Starfox was born Western, from a studio called argonauts in England.

You are way, way WAYYYYY to focused on where a game comes from instead of what the game actually is.

99% of Western games are worthless garbage. Less than worthless garbage, most of them are barely more than scams. What the hell is so great about the crappy western games plauging sony and ms systems? The barely interactive, copy and pasted game design from a decade ago, dumbed down and computer assisted to the point I could play them by slapping my genitals across the controller? WHy the hell would I want some crap stained fps I can get a dime a dozen on ps360, when Nintendo can give a Retro first person adventure masterpeice, that cant be found ANYWHERE ELSE?

And no, I would absolutely positively never NEVER NEEEEEEVVVVVEEEEEERRRR play a first party Nintendo game, on a Nintendo system USING A MIDDLEWARE ENGINE. That is the most disgusting backwards thing I have ever heard.

The problem is not that Nintendo is not making star fox's, or metroids, or f zero or whatever with a western studio. The problem is THEY ARENT MAKING STAR FOX OR FZERO OR METROID, AT ALL.

And what little amazing things they are making, that people DID respond too, they've let fall off the face of the earth.

Why would a delay make you cancel pre-orders? People deciding that they will not buy a game because of a delay or because of "ethical" reasons are feeding the company's distrust. If you don't buy their games, they won't make more. The smartest move is to show support, I mean, a delay is a delay, if it means we get a better game as a result do a few months really matter?

 

This is why I still plan on buying the game for my Wii U, also because it looks interesting.

So what's everyone's problem again?

 

We got more footage of Mariokart 8. It looks Amazing!! Neat tracks, and plenty of retro tracks confirmed as well.

We got a new character announcement in Little Mac for Smash.

X gameplay!!! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD PEOPLE YOU ALL WANTED THIS FOR SO LONG AND NOW YOU ARE ALL JUST SAYING MEH?! WHY?? IT WAS AMAZING AND EXACTLY WHAT WE EXPECTED AT THE SAME TIME!!

 

Bayonetta 2 story (Which was the first trailer to honestly turn my head for that game as it started to explain the story)

Donkey Kong even looks really good.

 

We got tons of indie support and such thrown in as well.

 

 

If you all payed attention to the pacing of these directs you would know that Nintendo saves all of the big Wii U stuff for the end.

We got a lot of the games that appeal to the younger audience for the 3DS that will keep that market growing over the next half a year.

Monster Hunter even got announced for the west.

Sonic Colors great game. Sonic Generations great game. Sonic Lost World the best 3D sonic ever made. Serious here. It is just a Genesis game in 3D like if you flipped it like how Super Paper Mario did. I say that as the level design has branching paths. For the first time in a Sonic 3D game SEGA did not push the ludacris speed button. They went back to running but getting over obstacle with platforming but doing that well and you are rewarded with speed. So keeping up your momentum and the game gets better. Exactly how Sonic 1-3 were designed. Sonic is back but many people still like to Daisy  because they are fools. If Sonic Boom turns out well it will not be the first good Sonic game in a while esp since technically it's a Ratchet & Clank game re skinned. People need to get off the hate train. I gave up on Sonic after Heroes and a friend had to seriously convince me to buy Colors. been back since and been a fan of the series since 1996.

wtf is with these "9.25" scores? Why don't the just give it 9/10? It makes so much more sense.

 

Anyway, this is good news, but we already knew it would get good reviews since it's retro and donkey kong.

 

Cranky Kong gave them a quarter not realizing it would go towards the score.. he was hoping it would get him a condom from the machine.
