#158149 So i turned on my Wii U...

Posted by Dragon on 10 January 2013 - 12:53 AM in Wii U Hardware

Welcome to the console version of beta testing. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I'm glad mine hasn't turned out bad... I'm also hoping it stays that way.

#158148 Xbox 720 & PlayStation 4

Posted by Dragon on 10 January 2013 - 12:51 AM in General Gaming

Sony needs to focus more on innovation this time with the PS Omni.

Now I know this sounds like a bad idea, but in their fiscal situation, Sony needs to attract the casual crowd. Along with that, they need to keep it reasonably priced. Just don't abandon the core gaming crowd. Nintendo seems to be finding the balance with the Wii U.

Then we have Microsoft.... They, more than likely will focus on Kinect for the next generation, being their money maker.

#158147 Nintendo eShop Discussion

Posted by Dragon on 10 January 2013 - 12:47 AM in Wii U Games and Software

Hmmmm what to say, what to say.....

Nano Assault Neo is worth the $9.99 (plus sales tax....)

#158146 3 million sold

Posted by Dragon on 10 January 2013 - 12:45 AM in Wii U Hardware

The funny thing is. If they don't sell 5.5 every site will be like "omg nintendo is dooomd!!1" and when they do accomplish it, it will be "nintendo is overrated anywayz"

But if Microsoft made it to their prediction....their fanboys would be like "MICROSOFT IS THE ALL SEEING ALL KNOWING COMPANY!!"

#157846 Team Ninja: Wii U is definitely Next Generation

Posted by Dragon on 09 January 2013 - 05:02 AM in Wii U Hardware

I agree, and it is freaking KILLING me that i cant find a leaked pic of them ANYWHERE.

Nintendo and their secrecy.... :(

#157843 Team Ninja: Wii U is definitely Next Generation

Ive gone over everything thats currently possible to know without a devkit and documentation.

It is very large compared to xenos and rsx, more room to fit alu's and other units, it has 3x the embedded ram, its actually on the same substrate as the cpu and other system components.

Developer comments keep mentioning new effects ps360 cant do.

Beyond that, its wait for it to be reverse engineered, wait for leaked documentation, or wait until nintendo finally shows one of its big games its hiding with iron clad security (retro, monolith, ead)

Zelda
Metroid
Monolith Title
Retro Title

Those seem to be the most likely games to show off the Wii Us true power.

#157798 What will be the Wii U's GOTY for 2013?

Modern Warfare 4

;)

#157796 New guy on the block

Posted by Dragon on 08 January 2013 - 09:38 PM in Introduction Central

Got it. Thanks for the tips. So far i havent died. I am out of ammo, havent dropped anything into the container and am pretty good at scanning lol. Can i have your nintendo ID? I can add you on my Wii U?

Ok, i just really got freaked out. I was exiting from the super-market, to find a zombie that had some sort of electricity power. Bringing the infected back to life. I seriously jumped and stayed on the edge of my seat as i headed back to the safe house shortcut lol.

I'll send you a friend request the next time I get on my Wii U.

Nice, i had heard alot of mixed reviews of Zombiu. But i'm a Zombie lover. Anything Zombie. So far, i like it alot. Love the use of the controller.

Here are some tips for ZombiU:

Scavenge in between missions. (Especially if you need ammo)
Take your time and don't rush into things. (You can easily die. I figured that out the hard way lol.)
Store Items you won't need in the metal container at the safe house. (I usually get a lot of health packs. Store them just in case you die.)
Use your Prepper Pad often. Whether it be scanning for items or using your radar to find Zombies. Use it often.

Thanks bro. Im currently getting into a game of Zombiu. Just started it. Hope that it keeps me entertained. I should have purchased ACIII, but i already have it on PC. Felt that it would be pointless.

The one advantage the Wii U version has over the other ones, is that you can do remote play with the gamepad. So if you feel like kicking back in bed, just switch to the gamepad.

One other thing you can do is take all the HUD off the main screen.

And ZombiU is really entertaining. I'm working on my 2nd playthrough right now.

Activision likes their money. It will be on Wii U.

#157470 NSMBU Level Editor?

Posted by Dragon on 08 January 2013 - 01:19 AM in Wii U Games and Software

New Super Mario Bros. U already surprised me with how good it ended up being (since I didn't like NSMB Wii). If they add a level editor, I will start drooling rainbows while unicorns come flying out as Chuck Norris rides one off into the sunset while playing Stairway to Heaven....with his mustache....

#155466 Nothing a little software update couldn't fix

Posted by Dragon on 02 January 2013 - 11:10 PM in Wii U Hardware

Installation of discs means free games for my friends! Of course Nintendo would do that to lose money.

My sarcasm detector is going off.

Nintendo could just do what Microsoft does with the 360 and require you to put the disc in for validation every time you want to play.

#155407 Nothing a little software update couldn't fix

Posted by Dragon on 02 January 2013 - 06:54 PM in Wii U Hardware

Oh I never thought about it like that. It would be better if they at least let you go to the Home menu when you are a lobby.

Not possible in it's current state. It would freeze the game. When you're in a lobby, you're connected to the servers online. It can't be stopped.

#155398 Nothing a little software update couldn't fix

Posted by Dragon on 02 January 2013 - 06:28 PM in Wii U Hardware

*cough*Black Ops 2 Home button functionality*cough*

That's a problem for most games with online. Not just black ops 2. It's to keep you from freezing the game online since it would suspend it. What Nintendo needs to do is create a guide like what's used on Xbox 360.

#155083 None of you are tougher than I am.

Posted by Dragon on 01 January 2013 - 10:04 PM in Roleplay and Forum Games

I'll have you know I read every post in this pointless thread. That proves how tough I am.

I liked Mignaga's post and I only cried for 20 minutes.

That's what I've been wondering.

No it's not. These types of arguments happen every so often.

#150725 Elder Scrolls on Wii U?

I'd love to see games like Skyrim and TES Online go on the Wii U. Also..... Fallout 4. :D

#150518 Good news about slow loading times

Posted by Dragon on 21 December 2012 - 12:17 PM in Wii U Hardware

http://www.vimeo.com/53859747

Once again, the loading times are NOT fine, they are SLOW. You're the idiot that thinks 22 seconds is "normal". Quit being a fanboy and admit Nintendo released a half baked console that loads everything absurdly slow.

I sat through the video trying to find the problem you're blowing out of proportion. I can't seem to find it.
