I enjoy building, and i play plentySince I'll be managing the server, I'll see if I need an op. Considering that server shouldn't be that big(10-20)people on at a time, I'm really thinking I shouldn't need help, unless if it's with building

hmm, then i'm thinking too literally :/Actually, pokemon IS an RPG... In fact, it uses elements from one of the earliest staples of the genre, Shin Megami Tensei. Which DOES have multiple endings.
I wasn't even sarcastic in my first post, btw. RPG was a genre long before video games came about, and the RPG video game genre is simply what a game is called when it is based on systems brought about by classic RPGs. It has nothing to do with plot, endings or character creation. At all. End of discussion.

But that's where I disagree.
Stat-managing is one of the things that should be included in an rpg to make it an rpg though, if that makes sense.
"An RPG to me is a game that has well developed characters and story, focuses on stats, levelling up, items iventories etc. And is of a pretty decent length." This is what I agree with.

But that's the thing, managing stats doesn't really make you have a role in the game, its just stat managing.I don't think RPGs need multiple endings to be considered as such they are just one type of RPG an open ended RPG. An RPG to me is a game that has well developed characters and story, focuses on stats, levelling up, items iventories etc. And is of a pretty decent length.

If you ever need a hand adminin I'll be glad to helpActually, Feld0 and myself already have somewhat of a system set up D.Player. I'm the person who's going to be watching over the server as a mod. Also, we already have an idea of which mods.
I have no plans to shut down the server after I start it, so you can rest assured it'll be up for a while. However, if I am forced to shut it down and cease its operations for whatever reason, I will provide a complete backup of the world to everyone who was part of it. You'll be able to import the backup into the single-player game afterwards.
I'm planning to use the official Minecraft server application for this, as I understand it will provide an official alternative to Craftbukkit and hMod, which provide mods as modular plugins. But we may need to wait a little after 1.8 comes out to see what mods will be available for it. And of course, the server will not go public until I'm absolutely sure I can make it griefer-proof. Currently, I have a setup that backs the world up every 30 minutes, along with a Craftbukkit plugin that logs every block change into a database, and lets ops roll stuff back at will.
To respond to your suggested rules:
1) No PvP. We want to have a cooperative atmosphere where we all work together to do awesome things. Griefing is a ban-worthy offense no matter what.
2) Goes without saying. It'll be a survival server, so item spawning is a big no-no. Asking to be an admin would also most likely be a way to guarantee you'll never be one.
3) Looting should be an offense. However, a cooperative communal atmosphere may largely help in keeping it down.

Cool, my old server(s) shut down so I'm stuck in server limbo :/It should open sometime after the 1.8 update, that's all details Feld0 has given so far...

i hate tap jump, and the 3ds circle pad doesn't seem very tappy :/I just use tap jump, AKA the control pad. But it could be Y. And it doesn't feel natural to me. Not to you.

but the b button was how the cube did it, and that's how i based my scheme.*Gasps* I LOVE THEM! >: (
I like this. But I don't think B button is natural for me. Maybe it could be this:
A normal attack button (A/Y Button)
- A special attack button (B/X Button)
But of course. This is only the default controls, not the definite controls.

Oh, I was talking about the 3ds's control scheme, but the wii u's controller could, again, use the gamecube's scheme. with the dl button (which wasn't on the cube) as a dedicated final smash buttonSo you are not thinking of the new DL and DR buttons to do anything? Two more attacks, there is a lot of ways to go there...

Updated with 3DS Default Control Scheme. Anyone like?
It's not a requirement that all buttons be used.
It's often more easier to have as little movement of the hands as possible.
The game only requires:
- A normal attack button (A button)
- A special attack button (B Button)
- A button to dodge and block (L button)
- Possibly a button to grab, but this was also normal+special on the Wii Remote + Nunchuk setup, which I found easier.(R Button [its closer to the z button, like the gamecube])
- Movement (Circle pad, duh)
- Taunt (d pad)

Here's the thing, dvd playback was a main selling point of the PS2, and now there's no point of putting that in the wiiu because it won't help move units. Nobody's going to buy a $250 system as a dvd player because everybody as one already.just so you guys aren't confused. i dont have a problem with the exclusion of dvd playback it just seems weird. the frecking ps2 could play dvds 2 gens ago. nintedno says licensing fees would be too much. it just seems weird... just wondering what you guys thought

I'd love a sequel to fusion.Okay well maybe a sequel to Metroid Fusion, or a spin-off game.
Or maybe they might be making the new legend of Zelda game, everyone likes zelda, right?

that'd be really hard, like some of the animationsI just got an idea from looking at computer's avatar. What if there was a stage that reduced all of the characters down to 8-Bit sprite versions of themselves. Not really useful in any way, but I think it would be awesome.

I really think zero would fit in well, it would represent both sides of mm games. The console ones with x( in my opinion are slower but stonger) and gba zero (faster but not as strong)It (refering to the S-AX because it is a parasite) would be a great fighter!! The thing is, since it has the Ice Beam throughout the entire game, I would think that it would be another character. Hopefully it wont seem like a clone.
I don't want any characters to be removed at all! It was bad enough that Mewtwo was removed (Lucario doesn't cut it, even though he is a great character)!! Also, gba version of Zero is who I want the MOST!!
Yeah, I agree. Lag is never good (though I never played too much to notice). Maybe the ability to use Custom Stages online would be good (just hope that no-one creates a boxed stage)!! Also, maybe a ranking system should be added. Lastly, an online Tournament mode (or hosting party sessions)!!

He's a head, so he'd be a good idea.Yeah... I think you're right. But don't forget Bomberman, it would be awesome if it was in the next game.
