"Trips" while talking about Smash bros. don't worry I'm only joking (kind of).
I don't undervalue the game, but I'm going to play ssb4 mostly on wii u because I like it better there. But when my flight is 13 hours( excluding the waiting hours) I want to play sth good and I can't think a better fighting game than ssb4

The downloads are tied to the NNID and the NNID is tied to the console. If something happens e.g your console breaks, you send it to your country's Nintendo and they have the way to transfer the NNID to another console

I agree it's not the best solution, but at least it is one.

I don't know about NA, but in Europe the preorders for Bayonetta are average,in contrast to Hyrule Warriors, but pretty decent if you take into consideration that an official release date hasn't been announced yet.

In Greece launch price for the deluxe bundle was 400 € (537$) which was pretty expensive, but now there are many nice bundles in reasonable prices; like triple fun pack, which has NSMBU,NSLU and nintendoland for 320€(430$) and one that has the triple fun pack+mk8 and a mario kart 8 red wheel for 350€(470$). The prices are very competitive if you take into consideration that a 500gb ps4 here costs about 410€(550$). I'm so happy that I see people buying wii u lol

This is my senior year -yay.!! Unfortunately, in Greece you don't choose your classes, there are specific subjects that you have to take based on your pathway and subjects that everyone has to take. This year I have:
1)Physics
2)Further Physics(P)
3)Maths(E)
4)Further Maths(P)
5)Modern Greek
6)Ancient Greek
7)Management(P)
8)Economics(P)
9) Basic Programming(P)
9)History
10)Religion
11)Literature
12)English
13)Biology
14)P.E
I give all the pathway (P) subjects, the elective one (E) and modern Greek during Panhelllenic examination, which is the examination that gets you into university and all the others within school in order to graduate

I don't really get it. I usually hate DLC. All DLC, even if it's "substantial" or "adds something new to the game."(in fact that makes it feel even worse because then it feels like I'm actually missing something good but I still don't want to pay extra) One of the main reasons I haven't bought Fire Emblem Awakening is because the DLC costs more than the game(the other being that the game hasn't dropped in price much.) but I don't see the problem with the microtransactions.
It seems like a shortcut rather than a bonus and that doesn't bother me. Regardless I probably won't be getting the game any time soon because the PS4 and Xbone are still carp and I don't even want to pay 60$ for the game. These AAA games take a drastic drop in price in like two months. I think I got ACIV for 30$ in like January or December...maybe February...I forget...and that's all I spent on it. It released in October.
Basically. Duh they want my money, but I don't get why I should be bothered. So some people get to waste money on upgrades in a game where upgrades barely matter, and there's probably a freely unlockable version of the same upgrades. Unless I'm supposed to be worried about "the future of gaming" or some carp. Meh. For someone who spent hundreds of hours pressing left and right in Pokemon to get the best stats I doubt unlocking this gear the hard way will bother me...but I probably won't bother cuz AC gear barely matters. Then again if Pokemon added microtransactions for that I'd be pretty upset...but I'm already pretty upset with how they made the games so...yeah. AC upgrades are way easier/less tedious to get.
After reading what I wrote...I sure am a weird guy...
As far as fe:a is concerned, you don't have to buy the extra maps in order to enjoy it, It's already huge so you don't actually miss a lot of things.

It was my first legend of zelda in a home console and I was absolutely amazed!!!! The motion controls are perfectly implemented in this game. It's my favorite wii game after SMG2.

I can sum this up in one word: Amazing. I don't know if you played the demo but the full version is quite different. The story is great, funny and interesting, usage of the gamepad is different and really acts like an extra pair of eyes aswell as an method for inputting the unite morphs. I was on the fence after demo but got it as a free game, playing on normal is actually challenging. It has it's minor flaws, weird camera angles and sometimes unresponsive too certain commands it's easily worth the price, espaiclly since it already is lower than say 3D world and the likes.
I haven't played the demo but I'm going to. Thnx

Honestly I hate the name. I'd be ok with just calling it Nintendo U or as posted above BEEM. Wii is still a crap name Wii U is even worse.
SEGA could really name a console when they wanted to. Genesis,Nomad,Saturn,Dreamcast. I don't think Nintendo was ever good with names. Sony and MS are just lazy about it. I do miss when consoles in general had a different name. Tho even then not all tried. Super Nintendo,Neo Geo AVS,CD,Pocket,Pocket Color. DC to me had the most creative name and the idea was simple. Dream Broadcasting. Dreamcast. ...it's thinking...
Now things are confusing really. Xbox 360? ...isn't that just an Xbox then? You go 360 degrees wind up where you began. Xbox One? So once again MS has essentially name Xbox just Xbox. Wii U? Is it a controller for Wii? 3DS? Where is DS 2? Oh 2DS but that cmae out after 3? Huh?
A bad name can make things worse and confusing in some cases. It is true tho the right marketing can make anything sell. If good enough can sell a hair brush to a bald man. Still would have helped Nintendo if they had a better name.
With that phrase you reminded me of Sheldon in Big Bang Theory. hahaha

Thought I should also mention Brawl's online being cut off wasn't directly Nintendo's fault.
Really? Whose fault was then? I'm asking because I don't know.

In order to play smash brawl you launch wii mode, so basically it is like playing the game in a wii, so no online unfortunately :/

It's unfair that physical copies don't count

It does half, if you get the deluxe edition you'll get acces to Nintendo Network Premium. Regestering and linking accounts allows you to save up points. For every 500 points you get a €5 eShop code. Every €1 equals to 8 points, which is weird as I seem to be getting a point for every €1 (need to check this out).It
I know it but it's different than the US one.
Posted by genev on 30 July 2014 - 02:17 PM in Wii U Games and Software
I don't know if they do this for your side of the pond but in the US anyone who buys a WiiU deluxe system gets the DDP which is a promo for every 60$ you spend on WiiU games digital or physical you get 5$ off. Even the free games like Platinum Rewards of MK8 count towards that 5$ off. So while 3D world is full price think of it this way it goes to knock 5$ off your next Eshop purchase. The promo goes on forever to.
This promo doesn't apply to europe.

I'd buy a physical disc online. You can get it new for $48. And when you're done playing it you can probably resell it on Ebay for around $40.
Eshop I'm guessing is still at $60 but don't quote me on that.
Also I've always thought 3D World looked awesome. Haven't gotten around to playing it but this thread got me thinking about buying it again.
The OP is from Europe, so no way he can buy the game for 48$(35€). I bought it for 45€(60$), but it was on sale, full price is 60€(80$) in almost every European country and in some others even more because it's a very popular title .
