In a forum, it's like one big family, that's what I like about this. It's also easy to get to be friends with someone-close friends even.
Look, have you ever discussed with a person on the internet and started on games and ended with how we humans are the worst animal on the world? If yes, then I don't need to explain all that much.
On the internet, you are also accept, no matter who you are or what you like.
I could go into more detail, but at the end I'd just come back to the main points from above.
If you want though, I can go into more detail
Yeah Brian, please do! I kind of understand what you mean, but gotta say I haven't ever discussed much on how rubbish people are. There are indeed some really rubbish people in the world, and the idea that the Internet groups more 'friendly' and fandom types, is a given. A forum is essentially a social network is it not? Yet, really not in the same way Facebook or Twitter is a social network...it is typical for these sites to house rubbish people

Nintendo usually like their prices cheap.
Back in E3 2001 when they announced the Gamecube, they said for it to be affordable.
They dropped the price of the Wii.... twice.
The 3DS got a price drop in a few months.
So, we may have a chance of it being a fair price. But since its HD, and that controller... Probably pretty expensive.
So what are you saying then?

This is very speculative, but will be a very interesting thread! It may potentially differ greatly between users too... I am interested for many reasons, and trying to get a feel for what people's opinions are and is quite important for me to know!
I'm doing a bit of writing on cultural theory and social media so some ideas on what you guys like and dislike about communities online would be really appreciated!..but just even how you guys feel about coming online to socialise would be fine as a small idea on what you feel. Anything you're comfortable saying, or to answer my question in more depth would be really great to read. My thoughts...
To start off, this forum for me is great because it means I can talk with people who potentially share the same interests as me, and where I feel comfortable. I like to watch YouTube, because I am a lad who likes to goof around sometimes I will visit different communities from time to time to get a feeling of what is going on. I like research, news, games and learning about other people, so it's win win for me wherever I go, but preference through interest will always guide me to places I would find more appropriate.
I do have a life outside of all this haha, but I socialise with friends in real-life situations more often, yet find that I learn less stuff. I am probably more lazy than I should be, but not anxious in any way that I am holding myself back from anything in my life. Sorted.
Your turn
Thank you for your head-rants! GO!

The main complaint I hear from Metroid fans about Other M is in the way Samus was characterized. Other than that I hear it's a good game.
Get them on the phone for me! I'm intrigued to what they're whining about. The production value of the game was equally as high quality as the story, and the way Samus' past was tastefully foretold. Maybe it was a mistake at the start to have her speaking at all, it happened, and I don't think it has spoilt anything. But waaahhatever, not worth crying over I suppose haha

Origin would be better than Steam, in my opinion.
Mainly because everyone I know who has Steam are elitists, and I don't want to play with elitists. Too bossy and whiny and pro and always accusing me of ragequits when I need to go to bed and stuff.
Lol! Sound like a bunch of losers, not that I wouldn't give Steam a shout some day soon...still yet to finish Portal 2 o_O

You do know that metroid came out a year before final fantasy, right? From what I've heard, Metroid: Other M was the worst game in the entire series and many fans hate it.
Don't get that..I really enjoyed it, and Hard Mode was well worth trying cos you feel like a BAD ASS when you finish the game

That's kinda how competitive business works in the first place.
From technology to fast food, everyone is looking at the competition.
That's just the current trend overcoming many industries - the creative industry especially; a recycling of sorts - but really is an attempt to achieve similar results to whatever campaigns are working out there. It will always be frowned upon, but potentially may produce better ideas in the long run. Evidence is clear with every new generation or leap in technology, not considering what Moore's law or whatever predicts. I wish for the sake of argument that it really doesn't matter who does what and how its done. I just want to see Nintendo do well, and I will greatly dislike Sony for their 'mimicking' of innovation that clearly isn't theirs, but it will only distinguish the Nintendo quality more. There needs to be an degree of competition to just keep things tight. Just a stale and a shameful way to do business...SONY - should stand for Shamefully Opposing Nintendo's Yield. Shouldn't they be actively worrying about Microsoft's rumoured leg-way with neXtBox anyway? Although, I suppose it was suggested that they have made comments on competing more directly by bring their new console release forward...

This article messed with my brain a little bit. But I did see a grammar error in it so the whole article is automatically invalid.
But more seriously, It would be interesting to see how using the Vita in this way would compare to the Wii U's controller.
PS. Any grammatirical and/or spelling errors that I make is totally awsometastic and therefore do not make me post's invalidated.
Awkward...

Why does everyone always forget Eternal Darkness?
As to counter your point about the 3DS failing, keep in mind to Combat the Vita you'll have the first year of the 3DS, plus the games that Nintendo is working on.
As for the WiiU needing more Mature games, Metroid, Zelda, Eternal Darkness are Nintendo's closest thing to "Mature" IPs. If anything, the WiiU could get it's "Mature" games from EA. They have a wide catalog of games and they are loving the WiiU if Peter Moore is to be believed.
Eternal Darkness - IT MUST HAPPEN!

You could argue that the Wii was clever advertising, but the product really sold itself. The Wii U will have a difficult job, with the 'Wii' thing carrying through. Stigma like that could be a make or break for a campaign, but Nintendo will be clever I think. They have to play it smart, and trump both Microsoft and Sony (@Crackkat - most certainly with some serious hardware with a serious, yet sufficient asking price) and the opportunity will be boosted soon enough. Remember the E3 announcement? The name 'Wii U' plus tons of other bits of info 'revealed' was quite a bold move. Many developments at Nintendo HQ will be happening rapidly right now, preparing for Nintendo's biggest launch yet - and their most successful one too it seems!

Nintendo has a pattern I find it repeating in terms of it's console. I've noticed that Nintendo likes to innovate then expand on power with innovation. It did that with the NES which was innovative during it's time with the plus control pad new take in platform style gaming then Mega Drive (Sega Genesis) gave us 16 bit first but the SNES was a power house in terms of grahics in the 90's and trumped a lot of MD games in terms of grahics plus brought us some fancy mode7 fx for some psuedo 3D. Then Nintendo moves fully to 3D gaming and introduces analog control and later down the road rumble. Nintendo was inovating with the N64 bringing us some industry firsts for console gaming and game play for that time. When GCN came along it was all about competing directly with the competetion so nintendo's focus were once again back on the graphics and the GCN did give us some great looking games that still look good today (Rouge Leader & RE4 I'm looking at you) it main focus was to compete with the PS2 but a thrid horse entered the competition that Nintendo wasn't counting on to succeed. With the Wii Nintedo once again took the route of innovation and gave us a new way to play games and bring gaming to the masses so we can have mom, dad, and the grandparents playing along too while bringing back intrest back on their products. Now we are in the last days of the Wii waiting for the Wii U and it appears Nintendo is ready to compete again. I believe Nintendo is going to have some serious power under the hood of the Wii U and if not on par being first out the gate it will probably be close to the newer systems on the way from Sony and Microsoft in terms of graphics. I believe that Wii U is going to give us some emersive and deep gaming experiences and can't wait to see what this system can so when in the right hands of some of the world's best developers. What are Your Thoughts and Predictions?
Just to make a point of that last bit; while Nintendo plan to make a release for the Wii U rather 'early' (considering the general public aren't expecting new leaps quite yet) it may not be as such of a surprise to people, as it feels like Nintendo are over-due to make their name heard amongst 'all audiences', including avid gamers, once again. I like how this could trump Sony and Microsoft. It seems like they need to save money, releasing new consoles that won't be a huge leap in performance...will the Wii U make them spend more and more on boasting much bigger hardware, potentially losing them profit on a release price? They can't make the same mistakes again, and if the Wii U really is a powerhouse, then they could be forced to out-power it for their 'set' audience. Time will tell I'm sure!

But you don't know when the next Xbox and PS4 will come out. Rumor has the new Xbox to be shown this January and released next year. This would mean the Xbox Next would be on par with Wii U. And remember, even if the new consoles come out next year the PS3 and 360 would still be sold and gAmes will still come out for those systems. So it's life cycle could still be for ten years.
This is extremely unlikely, but it is spoken of loads at the moment. Probably a little hype making people jump to conclusions, but if it was Microsoft and that trailer for Real Steel that started it all, then they probably have a plan in mind...I think for E3 though; any sooner, and i'd be surprised.

Don't simply look at the capabilities of mobile devises when considering the power of the rumored Xbox Loop even with an ARM processor it could easily out perform Wii U. However if the rumored Xbox Loop is the next xbox and ARM based it certainly would improve the possibility that Wii U and Xbox next would relatively close in capability.
XBox fan-boys can go ahead and state that the Wii U will have nothing on it, and I know it has been spoken of before that next gen won't be so 'next gen' when it comes to recently-produced hardware, but Microsoft can work very very hard if they want to. Don't quite understand the unintended contrast stated here. But, sounds to me Jikayaki, that you're suggesting ARM will make the 'loop' more powerful for sure, but will be closer to the Wii U's potential in hardware more so than we understand. Don't know how you've come to suggest all of the above, but i'd be interested in reading a link? Would be good to check out new XBox rumours, if there is any. Might be similar to the way Wii U supposedly had information 'leaked' all those months ago, before E3
